Congratulations then to GLSDiamond, who certainly worked hard for the title, gaining Credits consistently well but without ever taking the lead until Final night. Well done mate :)

HUGE Credits lost by so many in this last GP...237,000 for Coventry fan full-throttle, who led before that.

An unbelievable night for Poole fans saw 50,500 lost by Shale Eater as well as 50,000 for Cougar Pirate, 28,573 for Crazy Munchie AND 20,278 for Dark Horse !!

Dark Horse, was in second place going into the last one...but for whatever reason, didn't place any bets and therefore dropped 10%...which did at least mean holding-on to runner's up spot. And well done with that, Dark Horse :)

Not many big winners...but new World Champion GLSDiamond gained 80,000. Leading lady London Witch won 41,800. But next best was just 4,350 (!) for Diamond Exile.

Only two people managed to get two Finalists ! Well done to Ruby Tuesday for picking Greg and Nicki, and to a lesser extent Britpete who went for Greg and Gollob.

A big thankyou from me to all of you who enjoyed taking part in this years competition, it's certainly been eventful...see you all in April B)

Cheers !

Congratulations to GLSDiamond on his win.

I'm happy enough with sixth place - I thought with young Turner being tight on Gollob's odds I'd not make the top ten.

However, thanks to young Turner for his season-long efforts.

Now, in the style of the great man, I'm going to consider my continued involvement over the close season.

Huge thanks for this Steve, at least I managed to stay in throughout the whole series only to throw my usual caution to the wind in the final round and bet all bar 2 of my points......think in future I will stick to the careful route.

Well thats a bit of a surprise, honestly thought when Hampel went out that my chances had gone but good old Greg kept me at the races.

Cheers for the competition Steve its certainly been a tense one.

Just wish I had been putting the same bets on with Skybet, although knowing my luck I would have been out of the competition in round one :D

I was as suprised as anyone to see my name at the top of the tree !!!

Thought about gambling all my points but then decided to keep some back.

Everyone else in the top 10 seemed to go s***t or bust for the win while I thought a top ten finish for my first effort would be a good result.

Cheers to Greg but also to the others who I managed to pick and see them come in the top 4. Just wish Jarek would be a little more consistant.

Well roll on 2007 when all of you can go gunning for the top spot.

Thanks Steve for again organising this competition, it's kept my 11 year old step son entertained throughout the summer.

Every fortnight it's been a case of "Have you put my bets on ?"

Personally, I must try to do better next year and not be eliminated by the third GP of the year :)

If only I had bet on all the rounds, I could have got in the top 10! Why oh why didn't I bet on those two on skybet as well!

Thanks for running this Steve, looking forward to next year already.
