Great to see Paul Lee back on track. I hope he has all the luck in the world. He has earnt it.

A good enough line-up as you have some real fighters in there together with the acknowleged top dogs. As has been said before the top names do not make a top show but lesser lights always aim high on these occasions.

This meeting seems a far cry quality wise from years gone by

Yeah and charging an extra £2 just to watch the normal KL seven pit their wits against 9 other mostly PL riders!!! No different to watching a normal league meeting in my eyes. Must be an extra couple of quid to pay for the fireworks at the end.

As has been said above, this meeting used to be a very prestigious occasion. Shame.

As has been said above, this meeting used to be a very prestigious occasion.

But we see them on tv every week, things have changed ;)

Why not give all our riders, our potential riders ;) and the others in the line up the chance to earn a pound or two extra rather than those top boys who get the lion's share of open meeting berths?

It'll be entertaining, must admit I was looking forward to the Holder v Bridger races but there's still plenty more duals between the riders in it that I'm looking forward to seeing hehehe :approve:

Each to their own I suppose.  Still think it's far worthy of a better line up.

Suppose another reason we don't have other top PL names such as Boxall, Neath, Ashworth, Wilson, Zetterstrom etc etc not being invited is for the obvious reasons.  Shame again really.

Agree shooting star, I would have made the journey tomorrow night if there was a chance of seeing riders you don't see week in week out at KL. Last season for example the line up included Jansson,Louis, Janniro, Watt, Shields? etc with a decent smattering of PL riders .

It may have been better in the circumstances to have given this meeting a different name and reverted back to the POTE next season when a more suitable line up was obtainable

It may have been better that this meeting be held at the end of the season instead of being smack bang in the middle of the most important time for the KL speedway team.

This line-up does nought for me. Looks like a certain home winner. It doesnt make me want to get off me ass and get there im afraid.

Be interesting to hear how the track is for this week though. :D

Big..(ish ) Footie match on in KL tonight as well. Kings Lynn take on Norwich City in a benefit match for an injured player. The admission ? £5 ...looks a good deal that one.
