Daniel Smith
Does this mean a few riders groveling team promoters for a team spot next season over here?? This is from www.speedwayworld.tv today IF Jaroslaw Hampel keeps his place in the Grand Prix series, he may be forced to leave Atlas Wroclaw, as each Extraleague team is allowed to have two GP riders only. Hampel may be exchanged with Krzysztof Kasprzak from Unia Leszno. "I have heard that I may be the one to lose my place at Wroclaw," says Hampel, who will compete with Jason Crump and Hans Andersen, who have very strong positions in the Atlas team. "The signals I had were very unofficial. No-one from the club has contacted me. We will surely talk after the season," adds Hampel. Jarek admits that he already had some offers from other Polish clubs. "Unia Leszno have contacted me," says Hampel. It is very possible that Jarek would go to Leszno and Krzyszof Kasprzak would replace him at Wroclaw. Kasprzak has always been a transfer target for Atlas bosses. AndyM
Nice to see we don't have the monopoly on unnecessary rules. Can you imagine the fuss if Man Utd were forced to sell players because they had too many represented in the World Cup?

TwoMinuteWarning
I have always thought that a points limit, based on actual averages, is by far the best way to control the strengths of teams, and it also helps to control the costs of running the sport. One of the UK's best contributions to speedway. Then there is no need to limit GP riders specifically.
Subedei
Unia Tarnow are said to be chasing the signature of Hans Andersen. And Andersen appeared for Tarnow in the European Club Championship meeting. But, of course, with Tarnow said to be struggling financially, where'd the cash come from. Already looks like Tomasz Gollob will be heading to pastures new for 2007. With the Polish Ekstraliga proposing a switch to ten team, there shouldn't be too many GP rider problems - 15 GP rides divided by 10 clubs. Mateusz
kk will never leave leszno thats 100% <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL. Nothing's 100% in speedway. He'll go where they can pay him more. Simple. Unia Tarnow are said to be chasing the signature of Hans Andersen. And Andersen appeared for Tarnow in the European Club Championship meeting. (...) They're not the only club chasing to sign HA. But Wroclaw will do everything to keep him and more than likely they'll manage to do it. Leliwa
I think it is fairly clear by now that Jason and Hans will remain in Wroclaw for the next season. At least that is how it seems. Subedei, Tarnow’s financial problems are being straighten out, and now with two big companies: Zaklady Azotowe and Poldim buying shares of the Unia Tarnow ZSSA it looks like we should be all right financially for near future. The question if Tomasz will stay in Tarnow is going to be answered soon. I have a feeling that we will part with him, and it is not because of finances. It is no secret that Gollob was one of those Tarnow riders that got all the money on time throughout the season. He was supported by the City of Tarnow, and city authorities are quite happy with the promotion they got through this arrangement. To this extend that they are willing to support team star in coming season. The question is, who the star will be. There were some developments in recent weeks that might suggest that Unia will look past Gollob for that matter. But, these are just speculations, who knows how it will end up. Anyway, we are in for some interesting off season moves here in Poland.

I understand Torun may also be sorting out their problems, which is also very good news. I'm quite fond of Tarnow and Torun. It's not be nice seeing them struggle. Leliwa
On the contrary, true Polonia fans will always want Torun to be there in E-league. Just to taste another victory over local rival. Am I right Mateusz, or am I right?
