r8gdp Posted September 13, 2006 Report Share Posted September 13, 2006 just a thought about the point scoring for next year all the points scored in the heats remain the same . riders must be rewared for getting to the semis ,1st and 2nd go into the final getting points of 8 and 6 with the 3rd and 4th getting 4 and 2 the same in the final the points get added to the points scored in the meeting ie a rider winning all his heats plus winning the semi and the final would get 15+8+8=31 i beleive this would make the riders race hard for points in all their races and not as can be seen sometimes settling for 2nd and sometimes 3rd when they already have enough points to make the semis this could also make the title race closer what are your thoughts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This was viewed 833 times and received 27 responses that were the thoughts at that time. However now that this year's series is almost finished who knows opinion may now have changed.
