pirate paul
Pinched from the Poole OS 'Piotr Protasiewicz (Ipswich) and Peter Karlsson (Wolverhampton) will miss Sunday's Elite League Riders Championship at Wimborne Road with Eastbourne's Adam Shields and Coventry's Rory Schlein (Coventry) stepping in to replace them. Schlein has a particularly impressive record around Wimbonne Road in past times and the event promises to be keenly contested especially as there is a total prize pot of in excess of £10000, with the winner claiming £1650 plus a complete Jawa racing machine. Poole skipper Bjarne Pedersen, who won the event at Wimborne Road in 2004 will be joined by team-mate Krzysztof Kasprzak in the field whilst Bjarne's fellow countryman Nicki Pedersen will be eager to defend the title he won at Swindon last year. World champion Jason Crump will rank as one of the leading favourites for the championship whilst Hans Andersen, Mark Loram, Scott Nicholls and Leigh Adams all make Wimborne Road returns as former Pirates. The meeting starts at 4pm with gates opening at 2.30pm. Revised line up: Wiltshire (Oxford); Jensen (Peterborough); Hamill (Wolverhampton); Nicholls (Coventry); N.Pedersen (Eastbourne); B.Pedersen (Poole); Shields (Eastbourne); Andersen (Peterborough); Crump (Belle Vue); Kasprzak (Poole); Schlein (Coventry); Adams (Swindon); Stead (Belle Vue); Loram (Ipswich) and Max (Arena Essex).' Hopefully see you there then lora, i mean mummy, i mean...oh I give up!
youngy105
the winner claiming £1650 plus a complete Jawa racing machine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wonder what Crumpie will do with that now he is a GM Factory Rider....I suspect it will be another Phil Crump tuned engine for Simon Stead. Good luck to all riders on Sunday...let's hope this one lasts longer than the last.
