philcrumpisgod
Congratulations to Jason, the Elite League Riders Champion, top of the averages by a mile and World Champion 2006. The best in the world bar none!
BobC
For once, the best rider on the day won it.In some style too.Easily the best rider out there,by the proverbial mile. Many congratulations to Jason. Nicki was outstanding.I am a big critic of him,but on this occasion,I cannot put the man down.Probably the best Ive seen from him.Attaching the track with some clever manouvres.Like this,he is a joy to watch.IF only he was like it all the time! In ht16,Hans drove him wide,in doing so,Scott came through. All three had a right old ding dong.Scott and Hans particularly hard fought.Fairly though,I might add! To Hans credit,he did attempt to shake hands with Scott after the race, but was refused. Both NP and SN did some finger wagging in HA's direction. Greg was, well,Greg! His usual totally professional self.Always a pleasure to see him ride.Particularly hard fought final with Scott, and a well desrved 3rd place. Not the most exciting meeting in the World, but at least the cream rose to the top.
youngy105
Well done Crumpie....just another day at the office for the best rider in World Speedway at the moment. I wish Hans and Scotty would bury the hatchet...it's getting v.boring now.

Steve Shovlar
Hans and Scott shock hands in the semi and seemed very friendly. OK just got back and some good racing today on a drier than usual track. No suprise considering the weather all around. the track staff did wel keeping the dust down and although race times were slow, the action was thick and fast. As a side note, there didn't seem to be anyone filming there today. Except me. I shot over 30 minutes of action and I think it will look great when I capture it on my new Mac Pro later tonight. Got all the action. If anyone wants a copy I can do a DVD for £7 inc postage. No commentary etc but a nice souvineer of the meeting itself. Of course if there wasa pro crew there, let me know and I will keep the footage to myself. Just didn't see any cameras at all. Got heat 16 a treat and the final where Crump and Pedersen go within inches of the fence. Great stuff. Anyway I will stick the action up on Ebay for those that might want it. rabbit
Can I ask Mr Wong why you have the Pirates race jacket when the only interest you have in our club is a desire to follow Shovvy around and try and wind him up as you do with other members on here? pirate paul
He must have very thick skin or be very frustrated by now though Rabs, not one of his little wind ups have even got a nibble let alone a full on bite Seems to me Shovvys got his own personal stalker! Silver Bee
Absolutely fantastic ride by Crump in the final. Nicki pushed him very very wide but he kept it wound on and then blew peddy away. Best rider won it.
philcrumpisgod
Stuck in your throat has it Mr S., the fact that your personal nemesis has come to town and taken the spoils? Not even a hint of congratulations, my you are a bitter man. Shame on you and any other Pirates fans who can't give the man the recognition he thoroughly deserves, especially as he is your former number 1 from 1994 and that when only a kid as well. I like Antonio, but where's your hero today? I applaud all sensible Pirates fans who are able to give the man credit for his achievements. All you seem interested in is flogging your dvd. Is this a commercial channel, perhaps anybody with a business could put a link to their company website on their posts in future?
SuzieQ
Not the most thrilling ELRC I have attended but there were a few good races! I agree with those on here that say the best man won, Jase was awesome out there today and never really looked like he was going to be beaten really. Nicki had a good meeting and I was pleased to see him get runner up, is it just me that noticed that the top 3 today are the new top 3 in the world? (even if 2nd and 3rd were reversed) goes to prove what they say about cream rising to the top. Sad part for me was Mark having to pull out after just two rides with a virus, but in hindsight he didn't seem the usual Mark on the track, not attacking the corners in he typical Loram style.
