Individuals In October

Recommended Posts

Spoke with Jonathon Chapman last night at Kings Lynn and all three Americans will ride in some support races at the Pride of the East on Weds Oct 4th. Was hoping to add James Holder (Chris' brother ) to them but he now goes home on Sept 29th .

One booking down --on with the rest!!

Shaun & Bryan cannot arrive in Uk till the 9th as they have their National Chanpionship on 7th.

  • 3 weeks later...

Well Bryan Yarrow pulled out last week from coming after suffering some bike problems back home --and then Shaun Harmiatuk crashed in the American Nationals on Friday and is now out of the trip.

Matt Browne is still in Sweden and rang me at the weekend to say he has a few more meetings/rides left and then he will be back in the Uk --and it looks like he will line up in the Mildenhall Individual on Sunday 22nd October.

So from three it's down to one !

Bryan Yarrow

It'll be interesting to see how he goes if he gets a chance. He was widely reported to be carrying an injury when he came over before. He looked well short of pace though. So which was it? The injury? The bikes? Both?

I know he's a little older but any news on whether Ryan Fisher is still looking to come back over? He's got talent. If he can stay off the pop, and most importantly get some decent equipment under him he could be well worth someone taking a risk on.

Certainly wasn't Bryans bikes! Billy Janniro won a few heats on them from what I can remember.

He had a bad shoulder injury just before he came to ride for Coventry and from what I was told he shouldn't have really ridden with it.

I took him to Italy last year along with Chris Kerr for the World U21 Semi-Final and he rode quite well and I know he was looking forward to coming over to ride in the UK again.
