Subedei
subdei And you dont know he would'nt have ...so wind ya neck in :-) jirout <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ditto. The records show he didn't qualify and that's that. End of story. Not good enough. Ship him out and get someone deserving of a chance in. He's had too many and blown each and every one. And you still haven't deigned to answer my question, so I'll pose it again: exactly how many chances does Nicholls get before even the totally deluded cry no more? JIROUT
Subdei Ask Mr Postlewaite and BSI cos in case you havent notice the people of this fair land dont get a say in it...otherwise i am sure Hans would have been in this year jirout
Subedei
Nevermind Postlethwaite, you're the one consistently saying Nicholls deserves to be there in 2007 - how many chances do think he should get. This will be his third chance. Is that enough? Or do you think he should get automatic chances each and every year on the grounds that he's British? JIROUT
Yes i do...every year he should be in....every single year.....because with Nicholls you may not have a future world champion but you have entertainment which is what speedway is all about...entertainment for the fans....value for money jirout ps 4th in the ELRC.....not bad

Come on, get serious, only about half the GPers were there and Leigh Adams had a couple of engine failures. The only thing more laughable is any suggestion that Simon Stead is anywhere remotely close to GP standard.
JIROUT
Subdei I know it was obviously devalued because only 1 pole was in it and he could only be bothered to do 3 rides....where was Pepe...Seb ...Janusz etc etc........injured were they...Get real mate...you aint got an argument...GPs are for the best 15 riders in the world...and Scott Nicholls is easily one of them.....Dont care whether he qualified or not....Just the same as Hans was in the top 15 of the world this year and they made a mistake not picking him..... jirout

Its no good having a sensible debate with you. Whatever Scott Nicholls does is wrong, even if he had won today I'm sure you would have found something wrong with that too. Agreed, the guy is not World champion standard at the moment, but at least he trys and is incredibly exciting to watch, unlike Hampel, Pepe and more often than not Gollob, I usually make a cup of tea when they are riding, they bore me to tears. Subedei
...Get real mate...you aint got an argument...GPs are for the best 15 riders in the world... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No they aren't. They're for eleven riders who qualified (none of whom were called Scott Nicholls) and four arbitary picks from the FIM (little more than a street walker) and their pimps at BSI. If they were for the 15 best riders in the world, Nicholls wouldn't get a look in. It's you, dear fellow, who doesn't have an arguement, since you don't care how badly Scott Nicholls does and want him in regardless. That's no arguement whatsoever. JIROUT
Subdei Are we talking Speedway or Prostitution here!!!!!!!! Youre comment that Nicholls is not in the top 15 in the world is wrong i am afraid....he is 11th and would have been higher but for injury...end of story jirout
The Icicle Thief
Cmon guys i think its time we left mr sudebei alone he isnt going to let this one go - 25 pages of the same argument - enough is enough!! If he repeats himself anymore he is going to have UKGOLD on the phone!!

But I guess it's the best you've got. And you don't know it would've been higher. No one will ever know. Gollob might have been world champion had he competed in all the rounds in 1999. It's tough luck. Nicholls has had enough chances.
Guest Shale Eater
Only 1 Brit deserves to be in the GP's next year and thats Mark Loram. Nicholls and Richardson are both a couple of wasters and the biggest under achievers on the world stage. Simon Stead could be a possibility though i fear he'll go the same way. Harris is rubbish full stop and who are we left with after that - nobody

willp
so Subedei, if scott nicholls is so rubbish and isn't one of the top 15 riders in the world how did he come 4th today at the elrc? he was beaten by the three best riders in the world for god's sake! just face it Subedei, you are wrong and the rest of us are right. scotty is one of the top 15 riders in the world so doesn't he deserve to be there! you go on about this rubbish about how he doesn't deserve to be there because he didn't qualify, well im sure the series is better off with scotty been in there than him not. also, if anybody questions if scotty is not our best rider then what speedway have you been watching this year? rico better than scotty, do be a favour. Wieslaw Jagus has ridden one GP this season and made the Final. Scotty has ridden in 10 and made the Final once also. He's been on the pace but he hasn't qualified by right by finishing in the top eight (nine because of Andersen) yet again. I think he's likely to stay in the GPs but he really does need to make more Finals.
JIROUT
Well lets wait to see how Jagus does on tracks outside Poland next year then we will have a better appreciation of how good he is...easy really.... Sub ...you claiming Holta as Polish now mate....if so Jason Crump is Englands number 1....and how many GPs did Gollob miss in 99!!!!! Is that really what you think? I'm sorry to have to disappoint you, but Jagus qualified for the GPs by winning a meeting in Sweden. And he's a team mate of your beloved Nicholls in Sweden - guess which one has the higher average. I'll give you a big clue, the initials aren't SN. Sub ...you claiming Holta as Polish now mate....if so Jason Crump is Englands number 1....and how many GPs did Gollob miss in 99!!!!! Jirout <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I have honour and integrity and happily admit that I was mislead about the results of 1999, for which I apologise. Now, let's hope some other people have decency and honour.
