Paulco
After reading this in the scottish sun today i wish i was going now - From the tartan armys travel handbook Under the section - women of the world Boozy polish girls score full marks in the availability stakes . The guide says :- "If a bloater like me can get propositioned dailly , then you cannot fail " . The DRUNKS OF THE WORLD section dismisses the notion that scots are the worlds most notorious boozers . A tartan army member reveals :-" Poland must be the drunkest country in europe - fuelled by industrial-strength beer and top-drawer vodka ." So i hope you all enjoy yourselves and return safely and im dead jealous . One footnote for the latvian GP . In the TOILETS OF THE WORLD section a fan revealed :- "Majori station toilets in latvia consisted of a sloping gutter with standing and squatting positions and best of all , a single toilet roll on the opposite wall .If it wasnt for the grizzled babushka charging 15p a go , i would have been in for photos like a shot ." So you have been warned
Rob B
No chance of finding a hotel in Bydgoszcz now unless you wait till last minute and see if there are any cancellations. Otherwise will have to look outside of Bydgoszcz.

Hazzman
I would suggest looking at Gdansk and Torun but we got a hotel this time last year. We were only the British people in there and it was a dumb. At least 2 miles away from Bydgoszcz centre, it was next to a chemical plant which had planes and mystery trains going into it. I had laugh however. No-one could speak English there, it was good how it was Solidarity weekend last year around and lots of things were happening around the Chemik. The Chemik was last stop on the tram line. Hotel Chemik, its lovely.

Mateusz
try Torun, not to far away and a lovely place <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ..with a crappy stadium (...)it was next to a chemical plant which had planes and mystery trains going into it. My grandparents live there, spent lots of my childhood there. My grandpa worked nearly 40 years in that chemical company so it's not that dodgy as it might look We are booked into the Hotel Brzoza which looks very nice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Brzoza is a small sh!thole near Bydgoszcz. Don't know if hotel "Brzoza" is in the village of Brzoza but if so - it's definitely not close the town cetre (about 5 km from the Bydgoszcz outskirts).
