tommy
Just wondered if there was any news on Adrian's shoulder injury and whether he will be fit for the World U21 final in Italy on Sept 2nd ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nothing official but what I hear is Adrian is in a race with time to be fit for the final. Most likely it'll be a last minute decision.
Main Man
Thanks Tommy -- that what was I expected but with no news from anywhere thought I'd post to try to find out. With Troy Batchelor as reserve and travel arrangements to make I was curious.
SwineTown
While his scores possibly dont reflect it, Adrian has been excellent for us this year and I for one would make him my 1st signing for 2007. He looks like a real prospect and although prone to "gate and go" on occasions, he truly seems to be very talented and has already received some very large random cheques from fans for his troubles. Gutted to see him injured and cant wait to see him back.
tommy
Adrian is back on the bike and will be ready for the Final. ADRIAN Miedzinski will return to the track for Saturday's Individual Junior Championship final. That will be his first start after his collarbone injury. Despite very bad weather (strong wind and heavy rain) in Poland, Adrian decided to have a training session on Tuesday. The Adriana Torun rider wanted to check his fitness after three weeks' break. "Generally, it is not that bad. I do not feel pain while riding. I will certainly have a second practice before going to the final in Terenzano. What result will I achieve there? Hard to say, but I am hoping for a good one," said Miedzinski. Adrian is one of the tournament's favourites. Polish riders have taken junior gold for three successive seasons - Jaroslaw Hampel (2003), Robert Miskowiak (2004) and Krzysztof Kasprzak (2005). speedwayworld.tv Edited August 30, 2006 by tommy
