Rico
Wasn't at reserve today young fellow - he was at No 4, with Klecha at No 8. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the results Subedei. This makes his peformance even more impressive. According to the BTZ official site Sajfutdinov was born on 26 Oct 1989, which by my calculations makes him still only 16 years old. I've seen the lad on DVD a few times and he can go a bit. Ok, the opposition yesterday were pretty crap, but this lad clearly is a bit special. I'm sure it was Mateusz that told me that Sajfutdinov was recommended to the club by AJ, who had seen him ride in the Russian League. Frightening to think if the current rules stay in place this lad is eligible for a reserve berth for the next 4 years. Will the Poles allow a foreign youngster to be protected for such a long time ? arnieg
Mateusz You said he got beaten by Sajfutdinov - does this mean we have a future GP star at reserve for Polonia Bydgoszcz ? Rico <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looking at his results this year and last he looks every bit as worthy of the hype that Pavlic gets. 2005 summary ( all while only 15!): Qualified for European under 19 championship final, but not allowed to ride because too young Won Russian under21 title 6th in Russian senior championship (equal with Gafurov) Averaged 9.17 in russian league (11th in rankings)

Frankly, if he doesn't pull it out of the fire in Bydgoszcz, I'd struggle to justify his inclusion next season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have a feeling Gollob may not do it around the Mecca (I'll miss you this year), I can see AJ making it a night for Polonia fans to remember. Subedei
Mateusz You said he [Tomasz Gollob] got beaten by Sajfutdinov - does this mean we have a future GP star at reserve for Polonia Bydgoszcz ? Rico <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And Sajfutdinov has just repeated the trick and beaten Tomasz Gollob on his home track of Tarnow. Edit: But Tomasz Gollob returns the compliment in their next meeting. And it looks like a nasty crash in Leszno has resulted in a trip to hospital for former Panther Karol Zabik - here's hoping the young fellow is okay.
