No time I'm busy

Thanks Witchy

I dare not ask...what could you possibly be up to, Schumi?

I was thinking exactly the same thing Andy. :o

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all I want to say fair play to Lee for trying to carry on. I hope he's not too badly hurt, and will be back on a bike as soon as.

The ref was crap. Why was Crump not excluded for having a loose dirt deflector? The tapes were held a little too long at times, should have been a re-start for the Lee/Matej start, Nicki was unlucky, Bjarne was unlucky, it's a long list.

Congrats to Hans on another win. It's a shame he wasn't been in from the start because we'd be heading for a grandstand finish.

I should've kept my mouth shut about Greg and AJ, but well done to Matej, Antonio, and Jarek.

Referee was a total joke - even made Ma Vardy look decent with some of those decisions.

Hope Rico isn't badly hurt - that was a nasty couple of incidents and was amazed he came out for that penultimate ride. Bjarne was well out of sorts tonight - think carrying Poole for the last couple of weeks is catching up with him. Amazing how fresh a break can make a rider...

Think the greatest plus to come out of this G.P season is that Crump & Andersen who both always give their best in the Elite League have been so succesful.

Weather Update: It's raining in Prague!

Heat 1: Line-up

Lindback - N Pedersen - Adams - Gollob

Result: Lindback. Adams. N Pedersen. Gollob

Comments:Lindback made a great start off gate 1, Adams was with him the whole race. Gollob was 3rd for 3 laps until Pedersen passed him

Heat 2: Line-up

Zagar - Andersen - Rymel - B Pedersen

Result: Zagar. Andersen. Rymel. B Pedersen

Comments:It is becoming clear that gate 1 is the gate to have! another great start off this gate, this time by Zagar. Pedersen did not make the gate and got filled in very quickly at the back, unable to pass Rymel.

Heat 3: Line-up

Iversen - Hampel - Protasiewicz - Sullivan

Result: Iversen. Sullivan. Protasiewicz. Hampel

Comments:You guessed it, another good gate off 1, this time for Iversen. Sullivan passed Pepe going into the 3rd lap and caught up with Iversen too, but unable to pass him! It was stated that Sullivan is the only rider on the new Barum type, wonder if this helped?!?

Heat 4: Line-up

Richardson - Crump - Hancock Tomicek - Jonsson

Result: Crump. Richardson. Tomicek. Jonsson

Comments:Hancock touched the tapes, excluded from re-run! replaced by Lubos Tomicek

Crump hit the 1st bend in 1st place! Jonsson seemed to go backwards!

Heat 5: Line-up

Jonsson - Lindback - Zagar - Protasiewicz

Result: Zagar. Jonsson. Lindback. Protasiewicz

Comments: Zagar had another fantastic race. Lindback was last but passed Pepe on the 2nd lap. Jonsson had no answer for Zagar in front.

Heat 6: Line-up

Crump - Iversen - N Pedersen Simota- Rymel

Result: Crump. Iversen. Rymel. Simota

Comments:N Pedersen excluded for tapes offence! This was not a good decision as Rymel moved first off gate 4, making Pedersen move off gate 3! Nikki in good spirits in the pits over this! Sam Simota takes gate 3 now

Pretty much from the gate, Simota was in front of Rymel with Rymel coming under him at the end of 3rd lap, Simota fell but remounted at the back.

Heat 7: Line-up

Hampel - Richardson - Andersen - Adams

Result: Hampel. Andersen. Adams

Comments: Richardson fell at the back on lap 3! Hampel was way out in front at the time, Andersen had cut up Adams at the end of lap 1. Ambulance on track at the moment!

Richardson taken from track in the Ambulance, will update when I hear more!

Hampel made the gate for the 2nd time of asking! Andersen chopped across in from of Adams for the 2nd time too!

Heat 8: Line-up

Gollob - B Pedersen - Sullivan - Hancock

Result: Sullivan. Gollob. B Pedersen. Hancock

Comments: Fantastic start off gate 3 for Sullivan. Pedersen all over Gollob but no way past. Hancock kept lifting at the back, never challenging

Heat 9: Line-up

Rymel - Hancock - Lindback - Hampel

Result: Hancock. Hampel. Lindback. Rymel

Comments: Hancock made the gate and stayed ahead of the others. Lindback tried various ways past Hampel but to no avail.

Heat 10: Line-up

Sullivan - Zagar - Richardson - N Pedersen

Richardson will take his ride, he has groin and jaw injuries!

Result: Sullivan. Zagar (only 2 finish)

Comments:Pedersen excluded, 2nd lap he was coming up the inside of 1st/2nd bend in 3rd place, Sullivan was wide in 2nd place. Pedersen basically cut across and took Sullivans front wheel! Richardson was in front at the time (can he do it again?)

Sullivan made a fantasic start! Dubious start between Zagar and Richardson, clashed as they came away from the tapes, Richardson came to a stop, Ref never stopped race. According to Johno - Zagars foot rest ripped out loads of the spokes from Richardson's rear wheel!

Heat 11: Line-up

B Pedersen - Protasiewicz - Adams - Crump

Result: Adams. Crump. Protasiewicz

Comments: This started as a fantastic race, Adams flew round the track past the lot! Crump made a bad start but on the first lap he had gone past Pepe and was just coming round the outside of B Pedersen, at the same time Pedersen hit a dodgy bit of the track, straightened up and hit Crump who bounced off the airfence! Pedersen excluded from the re-run.

Adams from the gate again.

Heat 12: Line-up

Jonsson - Gollob - Iversen - Andersen

Result: Andersen. Gollob. Jonsson. Iversen

Comments: Andersen didn't make the gate off of 4, so he cut back and coming out of the 2nd bend he just swept across in front of Gollob! Typical Andersen move is how I would describe it! Iversen fell at the back on the last bend.

Heat 13: Line-up

Andersen - Sullivan Tomicek - Crump - Lindback

Result: Crump. Andersen. Tomicek

Comments: Sullivan excluded under the 2 minutes! very harsh from the ref as Ryan was at tapes as the time ran out! Tomicek takes his place in the re-run

Crump took lead from the start, coming off 4th bend of 1st lap, Lindback took 2nd place from Andersen, lifted and took off towards the fence, he got up and got bike off track before race was stopped.

Heat 14: Line-up

N Pedersen - Jonsson - B Pedersen - Hampel

Result: N Pedersen. Jonsson. B Pedersen. Hampel

Comments: Great race between Nicki and AJ with Nicki coming off the winner! Hampel had problems with his first bike and changed it with 23 seconds to spare! Not a good bike change!

Heat 15: Line-up

Hancock - Adams - Iversen - Zagar

Result: Adams. Iversen. Zagar.

Comments: Hancock had e/f on start line

JASON CRUMP - WORLD CHAMPION 2006

other than that, great race by Leigh Adams

Heat 16: Line-up

Protasiewicz - Rymel - Gollob - Richardson

Result: Protasiewicz. Gollob. Richardson. Rymel

Comments: Great ride from Pepe! Richardson tried to pass Gollob but to no avail!

Heat 17: Line-up

Lindback - B Pedersen - Richardson Simota - Iversen

Result: Lindback. Tomicek. Iversen. Simota

Comments: Lee Richardson advised by Doctor not to take any further part tonight, his place taken by Simota.

B Pedersen bike packed up at gate, ran back to get on other bike, skidded to tapes at time ran out but ref excluded him! (I am seriously fed up with this ref.) Tomicek will replace him in blue!

The re-run was pretty much from the gate!

Heat 18: Line-up

Protasiewicz - N Pedersen - Andersen - Hancock

Result: Andersen. N Pedersen. Hancock. Protasiewicz

Comments: A good battle between the two Danes, Nicki made the gate but Hans went by on the back straight of the first lap! on the 3rd lap it all went "iffy" for them both, Nicki on the inside went wide, Hans still going for the pass on the outside, how they both stayed on is beyond me! all seemed friendly though after the race

Heat 19: Line-up

Adams - Sullivan - Jonsson - Rymel

Result: Adams. Jonsson. Sullivan.

Comments: Race to be re-run, Rymel locked on the 1st turn, Jonsson caught the side of him and down went Rymel. Rymel excluded from re-run

Adams way out in front, good battel between Sullivan and Jonsson

Heat 20: Line-up

Zagar - Crump - Hampel - Gollob

Result: Crump. Hampel. Zagar. Gollob.

Comments: Crump out and out winner of this race, the battle behind between Zagar and Hampel went throughout the 4 laps, with Hampel taking 2nd place on the line

SEMI FINAL 1: Line-up

Zagar - Crump - Lindback - Iversen

Result: Lindback. Zagar. Crump. Iversen.

Comments: Crump did not make the gate. Lindback swept around Zagar down the back straight! Lucky he is feeling better huh!?!?

SEMI FINAL 2: Line-up

Adams - Andersen - Sullivan - Hampel

Result: Andersen. Hampel. Sullivan. Adams.

Comments: Difficult for me to comment on this one, too angry and fed up here!

Adams lead from the start, Hampel and Andersen battling for 2nd place. Then on the 3rd lap Adams bike starts to slow, and one by one all the riders pass him!

FINAL: Line-up

Andersen - Zagar - Lindback - Hampel

Result: Andersen. Zagar. Lindback. Hampel.

Comments: Andersen led from 1st bend. The other 3 battled with each other for 3 laps, with Hampel dropping off at the back to leave just Zagar and Lindback to battle for 2nd place.

Not a good meeting tonight at all

Quite flat and uneventful for the most part only came alive after the world championship was decided

A rag tag meeting - those who run the GP's are really going to have to do something about the point scoring system and the general format to keep it tighter and more interesting

None of this detracts from Jason Crump's fine efforts throughout the 8 GPs and a well deserved win

My nephew said to me 'I wonder what Nicki Pedersen was saying to Hans Andersen after their race.'

'Sorry Hans,' said Nicki, 'I thought you were Scotty Nicholls.'

to all those hans andersen haters, up yours!!! ,the man has earnt me a tidy few quid again tonight. congratulations to crumpy,a much deserved championship. best bit of the night seeing the ALES interview, great to see him up and about.

just an idea for next year, how about if a rider is more than 9 points down,he can go for double points!!!!!!(but he can only do it twice)

Up my what?

He's a talented rider - I don't think anyone's denying that. I still reckon his morning ritual involves knocking one out while gazing lovingly at his reflection. Er... not that I think about that sort of thing... *goes to hide in corner*

Sounds a bit like jealousy to me :wink:

 numpty! no one really hates him (only because thats a very strong word to use) disliked for his antics on track at times maybe

Anyway the letter that Keith in the studio received from Tony Steel that he just kept dropping into conversation did he actually read the letter out eventually or did he keep it secret? Only asking as fell asleep for the semis and the final  How bad is that!!!! (bloody night shifts catching up with me, hence the fact I'm wide awake now!)

Congratulations to Jason Crump on his World Title ..... simply rewards his excellent season, he has been far and away the best rider out of the 16 riders.

I understand that in terms of the SGP series he has won the title in the quickest time, which is some going considering TRicks performances last year.

Which brings me to congratulating the BSI on not having Hans Andersen in from the start of the series as he should of been !!! Perhaps if he was in from the start they might of had some competition for Crumpie this season and in the last couple of SGPs be interesting to see if BSI are burnt financially in terms of attendances - or lack off.

Or perhaps he wouldn't have had the motivation to raise his game and prove he was good enough to be included. It's all very well saying he should have been in from the start, but the fact is, he wasn't. End of story.
