What happens to Scotty's rides ? do the reserves take them or is someone else drafted in ?

from the bees site:

BUILDBASE Bees captain Scott Nicholls has not given up hope of racing in the Czech Grand Prix at Prague this weekend - despite suffering a broken collarbone at Brandon on Monday. Scott has visited specialist Brian Simpson and will have further treatment and physio in the next two days prior to making his decision on Thursday. Either way, he will not practice at Prague but says that if his shoulder improves in the next two days, and the injury can be appropriately strapped up, he may take the chance of racing.

If he makes his mind on the thursday, I'd say Ryan Sullivan gets the call, if he doesnt want to go then Chhrzanowski,if not then Bjerre, if not then Holta, if not then Stefan Andersson.

If Scott Nicholls or any other rider for that matter misses any GP's because of injury or illness I think that after the series has been completed they should be credited with the average points lost. ie. At present Scott Nicholls has gained 67 points from 7 GP's for an average of say 10 points per GP. If he finishes out of the top 8, but by adding 10 points to his final total for every missed GP he would have in fact finished in the top 8, then he should be given one of the 2007 wild cards.

That's a good idea. Much too sensible though so it will never used.

Which then means that Hans A. will add 84 points as the amount will represent the points not collected in the first 4 GP's (He scored 63 points in 3 GP's, average 21 points/GP)
