whowasthatberntpersson
Anyone who remembers Howard Cole from his Cradley and Kings Lynn days may be interested to know that he finally retired from his post speedway profession last year. Howard was a Mathematics Head at one of the top schools in Sydney. I saw him last year and he was easily recognisable from his speedway days, minus the green and white striped woolly hat. Guest Sir Lunchalot
Without being disrespectful (I hope) to all the other retired riders a Mathematics Head would be one of the more intellectual jobs I have heard of in a riders life after speedway. Anybody else go on to a similar vocation that anyone can think of ? Being a mathematican would have been handy doing the scores and averages too, bet he didn't get the green sheets wrong !!
