Subedei
Well, after the storming success of my last effort - I asked who'd be Sweden's next GP winner and up Andreas Jonsson popped to win the following GP - I thought I'd be a generous Mongol and ask who'll be Britain's next GP winner? And Britain has waited an awful long time - the last British triumph was that of Martin Dugard way back in 2000, I think. But Britain still has an active GP winner in Mark Loram - realistically, however, Loram isn't likely to add to his two wins. Can Scott Nicholls throw his bulk around sufficiently to win, or will Crump and Co always be too good come semi-final or, occasionally, final time? Will it be Stead or Harris the two great white hopes of the present, or will Britain have to wait for Bridger, Auty and Branney (I've got to keep Auntie Sue happy, she's after my blood) to do the business? Now, don't forget to thank me when Lee Richardson triumphs in Prague. Edited August 14, 2006 by Subedei

Badge
Well I think it will be Danny King in 2012
SCB
Scott Nicholls, in Praugue! He top scored in th eheats last year so surelt can go a bit better this time and do well in the semi and final too?! I hope so
richsimpson
Probably some new born - Nicholls, Stead and Harris will never be quite good enough. Loram never won in 2000 even although he got the GP title. Â It could be absolutely anyone! Possibly they don't even exist yet!
Heathcote
Well given that winning a GP these days is just as much about taking riders to the fence, taking each others line, strong elbows etc etc as well as a fast bike and a bit of ability I say give Andre Compton a wild card slot and he could well be in with a chance....hehehehe. Â In more reality next British winner of a GP .....Ben Taylor

south coast robin
As Crumpie was born in Bristol we will have to make do with him as the only English born world champion for the foreseeable future !!
sjw ministerofport
The union jack maybe in tatters but I will still wave it when ever the oppertunity allows. As for when will there be a British winner, the next GP of course and the one after that and the one after that and so on.

SCB
If Ben Wilson ever qualifies* for the Gp series or wins a GP, I'll run 4 laps at ecvery track in the nude! Â Â *So wildcards don't count, however, wining a round as a wildcard does.

SCB
Believe me, I am not worried in the slightest! It'll never happen. Ben Wilson will become a good Pl rider, maybe a decent EL reserve, not much more.

Gemini
If Ben Wilson ever qualifies* for the Gp series or wins a GP, I'll run 4 laps at every track in the nude! I'll remember that. And no cheating by wearing your I was wrong T. Shirt.
