Hi, we're still in Sweden after Målilla & are in an internet cafe browsing the PL results. Came across Wroclaw - Bydgoscz on sportowefakty & it said Jonsson 2 3 u & comment for heat 9 was:

 

Andreas Jonsson w ramach rezerwy taktyczniej zastąpił Sajfutdinova. Bjerre najszybszy spod taśmy, a Jonsson i Hampel zczepili się motorami i wpadli wprost w bandę. Ich motocykle przkoziołkowały nad bandą i znalazły się w pasie bezpieczeństwa. Na tor wyjechały dwie karetki, gdyż obaj zawodnicy nie podnoszą się z toru. Obaj zawodnicy tor opuszczają w karetkach, trwa przerwa w zawodach. Andreas Jonsson został odwieziony do szpitala, karetka z Jarkiem Hampelem pozostała w parkingu. Jonsson nie pojedzie już w dzisiejszych zawodach, nie wiadomo jeszcze nic w kwestii Jarka Hampela. Bieg rozegrany przez dwóch zawodników, lepszy ostatecznie Kenneth Bjerre.

 

Anyone know what happened - I can't get a sensible translation from the internet. Is he ok?

According to speedway updates site he tangled with Hampel taken to hospital as a precaution i think -sure someone will have more news.

There was an awful crash including AJ and Hampel in heat 9, first bend.

 

AJ has been taken to hospital.

 

Don't have any details yet but will try to call to Poland later tonight to find out anything. As for now I'm sitting in a net cafe in Reading and know only what read on the internet

Andreas Jonsson is out of hospital according to his dad Håkan.

Andreas hasnt broken any bones, but he has pain in his hand and his knee and sore in the neck and possibilty AJ has a concussion to.

The airfence helped Hampel, whitout it it would have been bad for Hampelski!!
