Steve Turner
Well ! A bit of a messy end to the Scandinavian GP ! Steve Turner
Another new leader for this years' series as World-Champ-woody takes over his favourite place ! full-throttle scored big points too, to take second place, to make it a Coventry one-two (with a Poole three-four!). So, so many people went for AJ, it was a damn good job he made it, or there'd have been tears a-plenty Former leader f-s-p has dropped out, sadly, after seeing his man Nicholls excluded from the semi. Captain Sprocket also leaves us, after his desperate attempt to cling on by his fingertips.
Subedei
A shameful display, for the most part, by Tomasz Gollob. Thankfully, as ever, young Jonsson didn't let me down. And he won the thing as well. Congratulations to the fellow - I'm sure a lot of people will be reminding me of past comments about Jonsson. However, I'm a fair Mongol, and I doff my hat to Jonsson (or I would, if I had one).
Steve Turner
Just to put Woody's total into perspective...he's done really well to get to over 80,000 with three GP's still to come... but the highest possible score at this point, is actually over 223 MILLION !! No doubt first-man-out Chivs dreamt of such scores when the series began
Subedei
How are you doing this season young Turner? I know you play along without posting.
Steve Turner
I'm on 55k Subedei...I've bottled it a few times this year, but like many others, AJ proved my saviour tonight. Don't know why he was such a popular choice really, and I don't think I got the betting points wrong on him, but maybe I did. May have quite a few big-odd's for the next one, what d'ya reckon ? Subedei
I reckon if I didn't keep picking aTomek Gollob, I could be winning. But I'll keep faith. This Mongol is as constant as the Northern Star.
Chivs
I didnt want the stresses and strains of having to choose two riders on a saturday night every few weeks
woody-the-bee
It's been an excellent season so far, but I'm not getting complacent. It only takes one bad grand-prix and I could be out of the competition altogether. There's still 3 GP's left and anything can happen. GLSDiamond
Steve going on holiday from this saturday ( 19th ) until Sunday 3rd September. Can I place my bets for the Grand Prix in Prague on the 26th ? If you could give me a list of the Riders values if possible this would be most appreciated
Steve Turner
I'm away for a while myself from tomorrow, so I'll put the betting thread online tonight.
