Anders
An entertaining evening for sure on a slick track which produced some exciting racing anyway. Surprised to see Ricky Kling excluded in heat eight, harsh exclusion which ruined his evening to be honest. The final? Well, Lindgren took a chance at the tapes to get infront of Lindbäck but lost out. Lindbäck was better on the day and deserved to win, taking a maximum of 6 heat victories. The fast gating Jonasson held second for a while but was eventually passed by Aldén. A special mention to Viktor Bergström who fought hard, for little reward. arnieg
An entertaining evening for sure on a slick track which produced some exciting racing anyway. Surprised to see Ricky Kling excluded in heat eight, harsh exclusion which ruined his evening to be honest. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was impressed by Kling and thought he was hard done by in heat 8. I don't think I'd even heard of Jonasson before, but he made a huge impact (literally in some races given his riding style). Fast gater, aggressive racer - all he needs is a little more control and he could be sensational. Can our Swedish friends tell us any more about him? Anders
Can our Swedish friends tell us any more about him? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thomas is born on November 27th 1988. He rode in some Elitserien meetings last year but mostly in reserve and/or junior leagues, he did however make the Swedish U21 final as well finishing in 12th place. This year he has been doubling-down with Lejonen in Allsvenskan, getting valuable experience against tougher opposition as well as getting the confidence of scoring loads of points. For VMS Elit in Elitserien, he has been giving confidence by the team management and been coming along better as the season has progressed, scoring 8 paid 9 in four despite a fall last Tuesday. Thomas is very good from the gate for a rider of his age and he´ll get the speed with the experience for sure. Can ride most tracks but seems to fancy fast tracks, with no difference if they are smaller (like Motala, Avesta) or bigger (like Vetlanda, Eskilstuna).
