Old Greg has pulled a few ruthless moves in his time as well - most of the top guys have, either in GPs or league racing. Remember our lads being on the end of a few H&H sandwiches at Cradley in past years and sure fans of other clubs can too. He's not up there for canonisation just yet.  ;)

Hmm - I can think of a few riders who might have taken Scott out with his first bend manouvre on the rerun, and probably got a rerun with all 3 back in, in fact I doubt Nicholls would have even risked that move against many other riders. Then his reluctance to close the gate, like Crump did to Pedersen in other semi, has probably cost him 2 GPs, so all things considered nice guys probably do sometimes come last ;)

Seems strange that the other Nicholls thread is logged of so early.

It is maybe because he is a Brit and is not supposed to be slagged of like other riders when riding hard/dirty (depends of the eyes that is watching).

The Hans thread was going on for several days ! ! ! !

And the NP threads last year went on for weeks.

Proberbly because at the end of the day no one takes Nicholls that seriously :o Lets face it the best hes ever achived is a very lucky second in a GP and that was down to refere error

In my opinion, the ref got the Zagar decision spot on. Too much of a delay between the contact and him falling off. If he had fallen off immediately, my opinion would be different.

Personally, I thought the Italian GP showed Scotty making just the sort of progress all us Brit fans have been clamouring for....

i.e. When he reached the semis, he showed some real ATTITUDE and that 'will to win' that has been so sadly lacking previously. :D Even better was the fact that he repeated the dose in the final :approve:

Compare this weekend with the Czech GP from last year for example..... Completely the reverse....

And to show my lack of bias..... I also thought HA did himself a load of credit with his attitude at the end of the final and in the post-final interviews with his magnanimous comments. :approve:

Wizza... I've watched the incident loads of times now and in all honesty he probably did clip him but with all the dust (yes there was some spraying up) how they could say 100% there was a touch I don't know, I've watched all the angles and like you say there was a delay on the touch and the fall, maybe Zagar wanted a re-run to gain a different position and that was his opportunity to get it, unfortunately his bid failed. They've all tried it at some point, some have one won the decision some haven't

I am fully behind scotty.

Us british fans have been crying out for a british gp winner for ages and when we get close some still moan! Amazing!

Ok, scotty was lucky but you need a bit of luck sometimes.

I agree, he may never be world champion, but with everybody's support maybe he can win a gp?

Far to many british people support foreign riders before there own riders and it gets on my nerves.

For example, british people supporting denmark in the world cup for instance! It made me laugh when you saw the supposed danish fans when the danish national anthem was playing!!! All silent!!! :D
