Warning: ;)

There is a huuuge road-work on the Krakow-Tarnow main route, so anyone going to Tarnow from the west should be prepared for the waste of time and riding it in several hours (except riding at night) instead of 1,5h as it was so far, and it's going to be like that for the next year. So if you don't have much time use alternative roads, or just go by the train. :)

As Tommy says - it's Poland, we don't have real motorways here. No matter how good (crazy) driver you are and what car you got it's all usually about the state of roads..

And to Ostrow Wielkopolski from Bydgoszcz is about 4,5 hrs, not 10 Hazzman..  ;)

Gniezno is quite close - easy top get by car or train.

I must of got one of the other Ostrow's then.

Only speedway in Poland on Sept 3 appears to be the rescheduled Polish Pairs Championship at Bydgoszcz

Being honest - nope. Some teams don't take it too serious and this year's line-up doesn't look really strong.

Of course if you're in Bydgoszcz or nearby it's worth going but if I had to make a long journey to watch this event I would not.
