Hazzman
Tarnow are searching for a new foreign rider to fire them in the playoffs. With the situation with the Drymls, Rickardsson's retirement and Nicholls misfiring in Poland. Who are Tarnow going to collect for some firepower, Kolodziej is also injured. Any rumours of signings?!? I can only think of Antonio Lindback as the only GP rider without a Polish club and he's very erratic and his Wroclaw debut last year for Sparta didnt go very well. Joanne
Fixtures after the Bydgoszcz GP (24th September):Wroclaw - Czestochowa (about 5 hrs by train) Tarnow - Bydgoszcz (almost a whole f..king day) Leszno - Torun (about 3,5 hrs) Rzeszow - Rybnik (a whole f..king day) Nothing close to Bydgoszcz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was going to ask that question but found the answer Will probably go to Leszno or Wroclaw. How long will it take by car as we're most probably going to hire one for the weekend? And as I am Scottish, what's the petrol prices like in Poland? Joanne
Just been asked by the driver of the hired car, what about the 1st Division the day after the GP? I am only the navigator Edited August 6, 2006 by Joanne
Rico
And as I am Scottish, what's the petrol prices like in Poland? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> About 70p per litre. I hear it's Ostrow v Zielona Gora in the First Division that Sunday. Potential league decider. I went along to this fixture earlier in the season and it was a great day. If the league title is on the line I'd suggest arriving about 7 hours before tapes up. Rico

Rico
Thanks for that Rico and Tommy but where is Ostrow. Have you got a link to a good map of where about it is?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Try ViaMichelin.com. Make sure to put Ostrów's full name, which is Ostrów Wielkopolski. There are quite a few Ostrów's in Poland and I wouldn't want you getting lost. Yeh, how long on train?!?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Get a lift from Joanne. Polrail site link Rico
Mr Snackette
Try ViaMichelin.com. Make sure to put Ostrów's full name, which is Ostrów Wielkopolski. There are quite a few Ostrów's in Poland and I wouldn't want you getting lost................. I tried that and ended up in a small village 137k and 2 hours drive from Torun!! Best to enter "63-400 Ostrów Wielkopolski", and you get the correct directions. Distance 230k, around a 4 hour drive. Looks like it's Gniezno for me, and a more civilised 100k drive from Torun. Hazzman
Polrail site link Rico <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well about 10 hour train journey to Ostrow.
Rico
Try putting Ostrów Wielkopolski in Hazzman. Times vary but I think it was about 4 hours. Rico

Mateusz
As Tommy says - it's Poland, we don't have real motorways here. No matter how good (crazy) driver you are and what car you got it's all usually about the state of roads.. And to Ostrow Wielkopolski from Bydgoszcz is about 4,5 hrs, not 10 Hazzman.. Gniezno is quite close - easy top get by car or train.
