FlyinRyan
I think Middlo has gone as far as he is capable of with Team GB. We need a change to move things on instead of stagnating as we are in the Speedway wilderness. I would recommend that Chris Louis being given the opportunity to manage our national team, he's more in touch with 2006 than 1976. The Know
Rubbish as a rider and rubbish as a manager. Lets face it no one could do worse as we have never won anything.

As Bryn is also a friend of Middlos I'd be very surprised if he would slate him either so that posting of yours will backfire on you

Ask PC, Mort, Simmo, Michael Lee, Gordon Kennet, Dave Jessup, Sir Kelvin etc if they have never won anything and see what sort of reply you get. iris123
Trouble with those figures though is that they are Elite figures, gained over the season at all the various tracks.GB and the rest didn't ride at all the tracks, they rode at Reading. So if you want to give us some figures to show where we stand in the rankings, give us the figures from meetings held at Reading. Then add in the fact that maybe a rider was coming back from injury, loss of form or was in super form, maybe track conditions at the time were not to the riders liking or quite the opposite. Can't see much point in such things, but they are peculiar to certain speedway supporters. Also find it quite pointless to suggest Poland have an average of 50+ based on their performance on Polish tracks. Do all the figures with adjustments for all the various extras and i will be interested to see what you come up with

iris123
Sorry for the 50+ misquote ,but still............this is speedway where riders performance can change drastically according to the track and it conditions.Take Gollob as an example if all GP's were held in Poland and Bydgoszcz in particular he would be a multiple WC imo.Fact is on the various tracks the GP circuit goes to he has little chance. No point including performances at Swindon when comparing strengths at Reading
