This thread sums up why women should have no part in speedway and why their opinions should be taken with a pinch of salt and not respected.

Unbeleivable and women wonder why they aren't respected on here and in speedway.

Chris please don't stereotype every girl on the forum

Nicholls, playing a real captains role tonight, diplomatic to the core.  Idiot.

SS not seen the meeting what happend for you to say this? Very unlike you to post something like this if something hadn't have happend to warrant it.

We have a silly little girl start this thread slamming a rider, who could have been very seriously injured for not shaking the riders hand and accusing HIM of dirty riding. Scott was hard, but fair in his overtake and left Hans room and didn't stuff him in the fence like Andersen tried to do. If Scott wanted to do Hans, he would have ridden him wider and put him in the fence.

Then we have some old women laying into Scott and accusing him of being unfair and to tough on Hans. Unbeleivable and women wonder why they aren't respected on here and in speedway.

Oh dear......you are not making yourself very popular here are you?

There have been plenty of comments from males about this very same matter, something which you seemed to have ignored.

I would hope that I have (and every other female come to that) respect on this and any other forum and indeed in general life outside of it, we are not all dizzy airheads just like not all blokes are w*****s.

I have taken a lot of time and effort to learn the rules of speedway (hard when they change them all the bloody time), I leave personal thoughts of a riders physical attributes at the door when commenting on matters.

Your post (trying hard to attack the post and not the poster here) leaves me with the impression that you believe that just because you have a larger appendage down below, that that gives you the right to know it all and that all females (most who have larger appendages at the top) are silly little girls who only think of bums and really have no idea of anything else.

Oh and I also know the offside rule in Football!!!

I am also a huge fan of boxing, Formula 1, athletics etc...just call me my fathers daughter even though he is the biggest chauvinistic person I could ever meet but at least he did me the one favour of treating me as an equal when it came discussions regarding sport!

I don't remember seeing any incident involving Hans and Nicholls last night, but then from where we were standing (and with the amount of time I had to look down to try and fill in more of my programme!) that isn't surprising.

I think people sometimes forget that Hans and Nicholls really don't seem to get on (probably stemming from their spell together at Ipswich) and that they are both guilty of being rather too aggressive at times. Hans is known as a hard rider, but Nicholls isn't squeaky clean himself (those who saw what happened to Jaros at Foxhall earlier this season will know exactly what I'm talking about!).

People keep saying that Nicholls shows determination, but when Hans, Pedersen, Crump or others do the same then they are being too hard. So if you criticise Hans then you have to criticise Nicholls (and Pedersen for that matter) just as much...

They are all passionate about the sport, and when winning the World Cup is at stake who can blame them?

Yep another sport fan here Sue! My Dad always treated me as his surrogate son (I was the 2nd child and my big sis was the 'girly' one!) so I got taken to all the sports things with him. I was filling in my own speedway programme at the age of 6 and had a season ticket to Swindon Town FC at the age of 10! I'd love young Chris to challenge you and I to a sports quiz........then we'd know who knows the most about sport!!!!!! :approve::lol:;)

The words in Danish is not making any sense at all. It should be like this, if it was supposed to be a translation from the English saying :

Jeg er ikke så dum som I måske tror.

Cheers garf - that's made my day!:D

or in Danish, and I'm sure if it's wrong your hero 'garf' will come to your rescue,
