Racer X
4.15 no rain anymore - doubt there will be any more now, the WTC will certainly go ahead and hopefully the rain will have done the track some good. I reckon far more watering went down from the skies than Ole would have allowed! Edited July 22, 2006 by Racer X

Racer X
There appear to be increasingly more postings here having a pop at the Reading track for no other reason than it's the Reading track. Quite honestly some of the postings on here have been utterly pathetic - anyone would think there was no passing on Thursday. Yes the track could have been much better but the entertainment was pretty good and there was passing - indeed much better than the majority of GPs. And the foolish suggestion than the only line was a blue groove is the most utterly rediculous posting of the whole thread. Harris passed a Dane and then passed Gollob, both round the outside. And the passing between Andersen and Nicholls was also off the blue line. Sometimes people just post tabloid style, unthinking and with very little truth, I'm starting to get ticked off with these people. (Moreso because I can't actually attend tonight - why can't the wife have her baby!)

There was far more passing than at your average GP.. The track only looked very poor and was extremly dusty but not way spoiled the event.. Lay off Reading and question other people who prepare the tracks for major events... for example Cardiff had a blue line after heat 2! I don't think the track is that bad tonight, could do with a little more shale perhaps. As pirate paul says our gating is dreadful. Hopefully we can pull our socks up and get back in contention
