Quick question.  How many pages were dedicated to Crump pulling the same move 3(?) times on 3(?) Danes in the last GP?

None that I've seen  but I lost interest after page 3.

Still, isn't it good that someone answered you? :P

Well I have read the comments, you Hans knockers love it don't you??:angry: Only one person mentioned the incident with Richardson and Iversen in heat 6, I played it back and the commentary say a few times about hard riding, closing the door etc, etc.... but thats o.k because its 'The Brits' whoopy do!! what a load of crap the Sky commentators talk, do you think it is clever 'twitting' about what riders say about each other 'quote' "thats what Hans just said about what goes around comes around "(when interviewing 'Tim Henman' sorry Scott (wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley Nicholls) straight away you are stirring it up between them, and like we say it is a dangerous enough sport anyway, Nicholls and Hans can't stand each other and I think jealousy has a lot to do with it (on Nicholls part).

I tell you what I could slap all of them especially Pearson I think he wants to have babies with Harris, Nicholls and Richardson what a gob he has!!! And the mistakes he makes (well all of them do) they make themselves look such PRATTS at times. Keith Heuwen can't resist having a dig about the 2004 WTC GET OVER IT!!!!.

I AM BRITISH (OR WHATEVER WE CALL OURSELVES) BUT

COME ON DENMARK ALSO HANS ANDERSEN FOR WORLD CHAMPION

typical panthers fan wearing his (hers) rose tinted specs??

Been no reply from Mr bratley as yet strange he usually comes on to defend his little soldier!!!

his.

What is your issue with peterborough?

I know a while ago there was a somewhat heated discussion between you and some other panthers fans, but there's no need to spit your dummy out every 5 minutes.

Put up, shut up, and grow up or feck off.

(

Nicholls in a dark alley? just swing at him and you are bound to hit that massive chin he sticks out...

I thought we were cheering on Great Britain (how come there are only english riders though?)

I have seen many "dodgy" moves, no-one got hurt Scottie won and both teams are through to the final....  get over it everyone...

The only thing i think was wrong is the bad sportsmanship that if someone offers you a hand to shake then you shake it, no matter what, pansy footballers do it, crazy rugby players do it, heck i have even done it (sometimes grudingly) but don't ever show how much of a child you are by spitting your dummy out....

)

I have seen that particular move from a rider many times. I've seen Peter Collins, Michael Lee, Ivan Mauger, Chris Morton, Sam Ermolenko, Lee Richardson and Leigh Adams to name a few - all execute that same move. Fans usually cheer! It is only because it was Hans Andersen that everyone is "up in arms" over it.

Having said that, Nicholls won the race - and I hope the Brits do well tomorrow.

I've also seen the same move on the same bend at Reading before, and Danny Bird missed most of last year's wages and is riding in the PL instead of the EL this year because of it

Quite the opposite. That my friend is how to generate some genuine heat amongst the two riders which could quite possibly attract more viewers on Sky. Drumming it up as much as possible is what gets bums on seats.

Look no further than to a chap called Dave Simms who is the announcers and GM for the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey team. He has spent the best part of 12 years riling up rival Nottingham Panthers fans into a frenzy, writing and commenting in outspoken ways which makes the blood boil, you name it, he's said it!

My point is that with people like this in a sport, it's what make fans go to watch. Adding a little controversy never hurt anyone and speedway is no different. I'm sure newer fans to S/W will tune in tonight to see if anything happens involving Scott and Hans. It's Sky's job to drum up tention amonsgt the riders, it's what gets the audience watching over and over again!

I've personally never seen Leigh Adams cut up a rider in the way Andersen did Nicholls, in fact I've very rarely seen him impede a rider at all, I'm very surprised he's in your list ..............

You missed the point - I wasn't saying Zagar was the one who stuffed Bird - I was pointing out that Zagar is capable of such behaviour and as Bird has been on the recieving end, perhaps he should explain to Zagar what it feels like to get badly hurt by someone else taking them out in that way!

It's the spoiled brat thing that bugs me about it.

He rides other people hard, but cries & whinges like a little girl when someone does it back to him.

If you are going to be a hard aggressive rider, then fine. But surely you have to accept that other people are going to treat you in the same way.
