WOW! I'm so proud of the boys tonight. I really thought we would get a hiding but they pulled together and all of them rode out of their skins, you could really see how much it meant to wear the union jack on their chests.

Now onto Reading. I think the race off will be even tougher but I know we can get through, we just need to show the same grit and determination.

It is, but officially they still come 3rd so it doesn't matter.

 

I think we'll be the biggest threat to the dnaes in the final and I'm glad the Aussies went straight through. Had the Poles gone through they'd have been confident, yet they'll now be thinking, "can't win it in Poland, got no chance in the UK" yet we know we can keep it close do a little (more) luck and knowledge and we can win it. The race off should give us some extra practice to help us get one over on the Aussies and hopefully the Danes.

 

I think, despite the fact I'm gutted we did not win, that this result is actually perfect, proved we can keep up with the Aussies and we get extra track time!

Final will be close between Australia, Denmark and GB. Think Australia will do it though.

In defense of JB here, I for one yes think Richardson rode well tonight but it doesn't take away the fact he's known as sicknote, I'm one of the worlds worst for being a non Richarson fan but please let's not repeat so many of the other threads by turning into a "let's slate Richardson" thread.

 

We had all of this last year and yes I commented (a lot) as well regarding him we all have our favourite riders, yes we are all entitled to our comments on here, we came 2nd tonight it was a team effort so let's just congratulate the team as a whole.

Only the brits could pick a foreigner friendly track to have the race off and final on. We may have stood a chance at Sheffield but not at Slickmead stadium. We need a Racers track, no pun intended. Lets hope aussies pick Travis as its one thing winning races in EL, another in SWC. Still heres hoping for a GB win.

Will be very difficult to qualify on Thursday as I do not think this will be a track that will suit ,nevertheless a good performance from Scotty and the boys but yet again it was just like watching a Grand Prix semi again as when we needed Scotty to gate he was not up to it. I really think he has the talent and I think it is now becoming a mental problem.
