Middlo Is Another Sven

Recommended Posts

Middlo is doing a good job as England were rated 3rd favourites in the qualifier, expected the Poles to win at home, and the Aussies have the BIG 2, Crumpie and Adams.Nicely poised for the home soil final.

Was working in Sturmy last Friday popped into the warehouse for a chat ,you were out playing golf

The way I see it, the Aussies have the big 4 in Crump, Adams, Sullivan and Wiltshire, who's return this season has been fantastic.

Asked you before and you bottled it come and speak to me face to face and tell me your master plan i would love to hear it.

If he is at Eastbourne whenever Poole are there, allow me to introduce you to the numpty, could be worth seeing him squirm. I've told you what he's like hun just wait til you meet him

Slight flaw in the plan, that would actually mean VV socially interacting with someone in the real world. I don't think he does personal contact...not with other people anyway.

Oh dear Rabbs I had the mis-fortune of meeting the little ferret at Arlington, unfortunately I can remember him, which is more than I can say for Tabby

im not convinced that the manager of the gb speedway team is on here posting

but if it is you,

why waste your time responding to people digging at you

Ghostie, Middlo reads the forum regular and from time to time posts replies, other than that he is well informed on what is being said. Reason he has responded...... there's only so much slating you can take.

Good Luck to all of you involved with TEAM GB in Thursdays meeting and again on Saturday in the final............... This time it's OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :approve:

Can't believe that people can have a pop at Middlo for not winning the World Cup.

Look at the raw materials he has got to work with compared to other countries. Given that the first 3 WTC campaigns were wrecked by injury I would argue that if anything he has over achieved in his time at the helm.

Also think it is great that he has the bottle to come on this forum and give his point of view.

How he can be compared to the massively overpaid, tactical desert that was Eriksson is beyond me.

Having said that beware of any Sheikhs inviting you out to Dubai, Middlo!

VV with all due respect I think (and would hope) that Middlo has more more important things on his mind like winning the run-off tonight, rather than answer your bitching.

You let the side down there Rabbit, the entire forum had managed to ignore possibly the dopiest post of the year for nearly 14 hours. :P

Had someone else asked I'm sure a reply would of been given almost straight away, because you make constant digs VV regarding Middlo, Poole and TEAM GB, if an answer had been given it would of given you something else to whinge about. The you wonder why I think you are such a dweeb.

Vincent Vega

Stop spouting crap old dude......... Neil Middleditch has done a very good job in difficult circumstances over recent years.....who would you have there instead?

The way I see it, the Aussies have the big 4 in Crump, Adams, Sullivan and Wiltshire, who's return this season has been fantastic.

shouldn't that be 'had'??

As far as the strongest team goes it is looking very even this year......all the nations seem to have 3 world class backed up by 2 international class..........the final two meetings will be fascinating and I hope the winner comes from the run off ;)

I know the rules are attack the post and not the poster, and to steer clear of any personal abuse, but I think this post warrants a small relaxation of the rules. I apologise to anyone I may offend in advance (except one person)

The silence is deafening Middlo whats happened cat got yer tongue. Why no Chris Louis at Smallmead tomorrow night it is not a difficult question or are you still trying to convince the rest of the team that Mark Loram was misquoted :D  :approve:

VV you really are a pathetic squirming little gobrubbishe. I only wish you had the balls to stop hiding behind your monitor being the big hard man and go and say some of this crap to Middlos face, as you have been offered, but its obvious you won't as you just don't have the bollox to back up your mouth

I know one thing for sure. Middlo's tactical moves tonight were straight out of the Eriksson book! Pathetic! The Poles were never even close to getting us! Why just totally undermine Steady's confidence by replacing him twice! Great tactical by Lee. Again! Why not use Scottie in heat 20 against Gollob, Iversen and Correy?! I'd say more chance of points there than against Hampel, Hancock and Gjedde! Steady hasn't come last in a race in the SWC yet, and yet Middlo takes him out twice. As soon as Lee didn't gate, that was it for the tactical...

Jesus Paul, you seem seriously angry tonight. VV's post wasn't the best thing he's ever said for sure, and I'm pretty certain you've just said what a lot of people actually think! But mate, please, calm down a bit. Maybe it's the heat, maybe it's personal factors, but you need to relax a little. Your postings are usually very constructive and good to read with a lot of sense behind them. You haven't offended me at all (I personally thought it was pretty funny) but you don't want to risk yourself a warning is all I'm saying.

Take it easy. :)

(

As I've said before, the British team manager shouldn't just be selecting a squad, then showing up on match days to give a pep talk, manage substitutions and collect his pay cheque - he should be integrally involved in the national development at all levels, promoting investment and developing a long-term vision to put our country back on top of the world.  If he can't do that, we need somebody who can.

)

Good post. There is a lot of truth in what you say. The Team Manager should be more involved with development at all levels. But where are the training facilities that Denmark , Sweden and Poland have for the youngsters to come through the ranks, starting with 80cc machines and then onwards and upwards?

No worries ...

I think that this will be assessed as reasonable comment ...

Resting Stead wasn't the issue. Picking him in the 1st place was.

By not using him for his last 2 Middlo basically proved he'd made a mistake as Stead is generally poor at Reading.

Also, his use of the joker beggered belief. Heat 20 was the obvious option.
