shazzybird
Are they not allowed personal friends then? If you heard and read about your "friend" being slatted at every opportunity would you not defend them to the hilt? If you say no then you really not a true friend
rabbit
Says it all that middlos supporters on here also seem to be personal friends of his, at the end of the day your judged on results and after 6 years of failure its not unreasonable to want a change of ideas. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Never spoken to the bloke in my life. masked_rooster
Now go and look at the injuries TEAM GB have carried and what team Middlo has selected, making the rostrum on nearly all occasions in charge and all things considered with injuries he hasn't really done a bad job. He can't be that bad if they keep offering him the job can he <{POST_SNAPBACK}>   no one saying he done a bad job. he certainly has had a potless one with team GB i personally now think its time for a change and Havvy is the man IMO  he's had the job nearly as long as lizzy as had the throne but seriously time to freshen up the brits and whilst at it get rid of the union jack as well for the george cross let wales, ireland and scotland represent themselves

If that's what he's doing for him imagine the attitude of the others if he was in charge As for ditching the TEAM GB and becoming England how many Welsh and Scot were in TEAM GB this year?  As far as being "Potless" have you seen any of the Australian fans coming on here calling for a change in Manager and they came in behind us, yes I know it's Boyceys second (edited) year but they are more "Potless" than us this year (this is no way meant with any dis-respect towards Boycey or the Australian riders or fan base just an example ) Edited July 24, 2006 by shazzybird
masked_rooster
difference is boycie has only just took charge middlo has had six years. Vincent Vega
Shazzy  If my memory serves me correctly when we met at Arlington we had a civil conversation about the great sport of speedway the old days at Wimbledon, Hackney Canterbury etc I dont remember arguing with you at any point.  Luv  Vinnie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
shazzybird
See I can be polite up until the point you offered to have your hair shaved on the centre green at Wimbourne Road if Poole won the league ........... who would care if you had your balls plucked, no-one knows you! colin
Rather than worry about whether Middlo should be manager or not the most obvious worry is the lack of British talent and for the next few years to come ! As has already been said silk purse sows ear etc. Middlo can only do what he can with the very short resources (riders) that we as a nation have. Only my opinions of course and I do not have any connections with Middlo!! Colin..

shazzybird
Not according to the emails and pms I've received lately  I don't stick out like a sore thumb, you very rarely here me shouting and screaming at Speedway, I tend to enjoy the racing and give credit where credit is due. rabbit
Well this week's Speedway Star has Middlo seemingly contemplating his future which should give VV his thrill of the morning. Â More telling to me are quotes from Scott Nicholls, talking about Middlo, what the other riders think and calling on the BSPA and the powers that be to back him to remain. Think that speaks far louder than a few keyboard commandos picking names out of thin air.

Vincent Vega
Middlo  You are totally right to be considering your position. After last nights thrashing by Peterborough you need to devote all your time to Poole next season before they go down the plughole. Let someone like Ronnie or Pete Adams have a go and if they cant do it. Come back in 2009.  What do you say old chum?  Regards sir  VV
Bonsai Diamond
MIddlo must stay in charge he gets 110% out of the riders and who can ask for more than that? If Lee Richardson was on form this year we would have been world champs no question about it.
