KevH
This is good news for Speedway in Australia. Over the last few years the sport has taken a few steps backwards and hopefully this will move it forward again. If all goes well, we may even see the GP Series returning down under in the not too distant future!

SCB
Jason Crump, currently on track to win his second World Championship, has expressed interest in riding in the Title again now the event is being managed by Power Productions. Organizers are extremely hopeful of securing Australia’s undisputed number one rider. So why run an Oz championship if a guy who doesn't ride in it can still be refered to as, "undisputed number one"? Surely as current Australian Champion, Leigh Adams is "Australias number 1"? Though as the best Aussie in the GP's, Jason is number 1? So as I see it, at the very least it's disputable as to who is Australian number 1!

Multi round Oz championships and so many good juniors that there has had to be a qualifying meeting for the U21's have been a plus. Great things happening up in Ayr have been pleasing too. The troubles at Gosford has been the obvious dampener on the Oz scene.
