tommy
WHO remembers the World Junior Individual Champion 2001? Just to remind everyone – his name is Dawid Kujawa. After two and a half years he is back on track! Kujawa was given a chance by Swedish club Kaparna Gothenburg. 25 year old Dawid moved to Sweden some time ago to work as a mechanic. He was frustrated with poor results in the Polish leagues, where he was under huge pressure due to his Junior Championship title. Kujawa started to work as Joonas Kylmakorpi's mechanic. "I am happy he gave me a chance to work. Don't I miss riding? Not very much. The fun has gone," Dawid was saying a year ago. Now he claims he is happy to get help from Kaparna. He wants to pay back their trust and is not thinking about a Polish league comeback yet. www.speedwayworld.tv Dawid was in the pits at the Gorzow-Zielona Gora pits helping out a bit Walasek. Didn't expect to see him back on the track tho.
philcrumpisgod
I think quite a few Newport fans will not forget Mr Kujawa in a hurry. No disrespect to the lad after all he puts life and limb at risk each time he goes on track but his "time" at Newport was an absolute farce. Would be interested to hear if he wanted to put his side of the story forward. From the fans side of the fence, well it was completely absurd. Tsunami
Think SCB will be getting excited at the possibilty of his return to Newport. Hope it all goes well for the lad.
SCB
I'm already working out how to fit him in, I think sacking Schrammy, Tony and Neil is the best way

SCB
When he signed for Newport I did a lot of research on Dawid and looked up loads of old score, I think it's fair to say only 2 or 3 were any good and impressed me. This looks like Dawids best ever meeting, apart from his Under 21 meeting at Peterborough. I wonder if he's still a Newport asett?!
