Couldn't agree more. I like Andersen but everyone is raving about him after 2 GP's. He was left out of the series and had a massive point to prove at Parken. He's been given another chance tonight and is taking it with both hands but to say Crump is gratefu for Andersen not being in the series is utter tosh.

Andersen wasn't a threat in 2003, 2004 or 2005 when JC finished 2nd, 1st and 2nd. Crump, on current form, is the best rider in the world and not even Hans Andersen would have stopped him gaining world title number 2.

I daresay you're right. If Andersen had been given a permanent wild card for this year he could well have been distinctly average in the GP's as he has been in the past. However I believe its the fact he was left out of the GP that has motivated him so much this year.

Next years series could make very interesting viewing.

I am financially solid enough to take several weeks holiday in the summer. Off next weekend in fact.

Excellent..........room in the suitcase for a small one then Steve?

Surely he has to get in the semis to make the final?  :P

Even when he makes the Semis it's a wasted opportunity.

It would be nice to have a Brit in the final at least once this year though wouldn't it B)

Deary me, nightmare for Tonihno tonight. Good to see Scotty up there though, lets just hope he can go that extra step tonight.

On a different tack, how much longer do we have to put up with Millards Mistakes? I used to find it quite amusing but now its getting to the point where it is ruining my enjoyment of the coverage. Come on Sky, do the right thing and move him onto something a bit less taxing. Like curling perhaps? ;)

All this talk about TRick not doing well this year. Where was Crump last year? Nowhere. When Crump becomes a 7 times world champion, I will class him a great rider. At the moment he is not even in the same ballpark as the legend.

Second in the world nowhere ? If thats the case your two favourites Bjarrne and Lindback are going nowhere fast.

Trouble for BV fans is that Crump is not likely to be at KL in 2007. Will they still be cheering him on when he rides for a rival team?

Know something we don't Steve. Crump will be at Belle Vue in 2007. Messrs Mole and Thomas would be crazy to even think about letting him go. If Crump doesn't ride for BV in 2007 it'll be because he's not riding in the Elite League.
