SCB
Yes i agree up to a point... Although in that case why did Crumpy go after Hans so much in heat 25 of the SWC and blow it for his Country as far as getting a rostrum place?? these speedway riders have pride in abundance and think it would hurt just a little bit if Hans beat him again.. either way i for one am looking forward to the event. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with that too. I stand by the fact I don't think Crumpy will worry about Hans as he's not a threat (he could prove quite useful in helping peg back his opponents!). However, I do agree he will want to beat him as Crumpy is a winner and will wnat nothing less than 1st place. I also think Crumpy is in such a position right now that he worries about nobody, he KNOW he can beat anyone, I'm sure Hans thinks the same way too. I can't wait to see them battle it out, 3 times hopefully (heats, semi and final).

Seb the Snail
Does anyone know the riding order for this meeting please? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See my post on page 1 - the draw was made last week. I assume that Hans just takes TRick's place in the relevant heats?

Guest PanthersChamp06
If Pepe wasnt fit for Saturday, would Ryan get the next spot or would the Track Reserve race. I'm pretty sure Ryan would get his chance.

I'm pretty sure Ryan would get his chance. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Think it depends on the timing. Obviously, if Pepe & Trick withdraw early enough then the reserves will be called up (HA & RS). However, I think that logistics would dictate the track reserves are used if someone pulls out on Fri as it would be too late for anyone else to get there for practice etc. Hope to see HA & RS, but there's no mention on BSI site about it yet. So Hans is definately in, would like to see Ryan ride just to get him into practice for next year Pepe sounds like he wont make a decision till late on. Topcat
The draw for the Italian GP has now been made: http://www.speedwayworld.tv/draw/2006/draw_italy.php The Wild Card is Mattia Carpanese and the Track Reserves are Daniele Tessari and Simone Terenzani. Are any other Forum regulars making the trip? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean Daniele the Monarch.
Paragon
Anyone know what time practise is for the GP Saturday. Last year it was 5pm but they are usually 3pm & we dont want to spend too long in the Italian afternoon sun.

Guest PanthersChamp06
Is Crump able to ride, in this as last I heard he left in a Ambulance to get checked up last night at Coventry? If hes not able to ride, Ryan and Tomasz Chzanowski might be riding instead of Pepe and Crump.
Guest PanthersChamp06
From the BSPA CRUMP INJURY SCARE WORLD Championship leader Jason Crump is fighting a fitness battle ahead of Saturday's Italian Grand Prix after a crash at Coventry. Crump took avoiding action when Rory Schlein's machine slowed on the last bend of the last race and suffered an ankle injury. He has flown to Lonigo for further treatment as the Italian circuit has a full medical unit, although he may elect to miss the practice session.
