home straight
Well done to Crump, Nicholls and Andersen. Not a bad GP, even carrying an injury Crump picks up 25 points and now surely can't be caught. I'm not a fan but you have to respect the guy. Hopefully Nicholls can build on tonights result and move on from there. Andersen will obviously be included in the series next year one way or another and if he can carry this years form on, the battle at the top between him, Crump and possibly a couple of others is going to be mouthwatering. Anton was clearly thrown by what happened in his first heat, but no doubt he'll be back to his best soon. Bjarne was unlucky not to make the final, I thought for a minute he was going to go by Crump, but it wasn't to be unfortunately.
Shortcrust
Miracles rarely happen, shocking refereeing decisions much more frequently <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank god in his case. He only has Tony Steele to thank for his final place.

Shortcrust
Did you notice pre-meeting he said he wanted to make the final rather than his usual semi-final aim?! Maybe thats the difference?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I missed that one SCB but no mistake I did hear him in his midway interview with Miss Mole that he had to push to get to the semi. The Know
This time though it went the way of a Brit which is even more of a rare occasion <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You having a laugh, lets hope it happens to scott at next g.p and then see if its o.k. HenryW
He only has Tony Steele to thank for his final place. [/color] Totally disagree. I'm a big fan of Zagar, but he got a relatively small bump going down the straight...If he can't handle that then he doesn't deserve to be in a GP final. Several riders took much worse hits on the straight during the meeting and didn't flop to the floor, the worst of them probably being Bjarne in the other semi final. I have to say that the track really didn't deliver the goods tonight. Pinning yourself to the white line seemed to be the only way to go for most of the night! rabbit
You having a laugh, lets hope it happens to scott at next g.p and then see if its o.k. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're just sore that Nicholls finished ahead of him in the final. FWIW thought Scott was lucky to get into the re-run. But you have to make your own luck and certain other riders pull hard moves and get away with it. People moan that Scott isn't determined or hard enough, and then when he is, that's wrong too. Look at the move Crump pulled on Bjarne in the semi as one example, no quarter asked or given - it's a tough sport - you either play with the big boys or go home I'm afraid. Mr. Clemens
All too predictable - some good races - Crump marches on
lastword
Bad luck Bjarne. Crumps dirty move by leaving no racing room will be remembered. If Bjarne had come off Crump would have been out on his ass. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As you can see I am a fairly new poster on this site, whereas I notice that you have posted thousands of times. Tell me,are all your posts as stupid as that one,or are you just having a bad day?
Hans Andersen No1 Fan
Well done to Jason once again showin that he can pull it out the bag no matter what the odds but Scotty should not have been in that final, dont no where they are getting these refs from. I no Tony is a top class ref but firstly the world cup and now this. Scotty clearly pushed Matej and should not be let off just because his British. I hope he qualifys in the top 8 course he's the best we got and he did do well to come second in the final i cant take that away from him. Glad Hans got third and thought he spoke very well about Jason on sky and once again proved what a top class rider he is. Would have liked the tital race to be closer but Jason deserves it this year but im sure Hans will be hot on his heals next season! Searley
Well done Scotty!! Jason Crump has sewn this up now and quite frankly deserves it!

buxton-babe
Crumpy deserves it for his riding but he needs to change his attitude Well done Hans!! Totally awesome
The Know
You're just sore that Nicholls finished ahead of him in the final. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dont think so, hans has only been in 2 g.p scott has been in 6 and he is not that many points behind and i would not be surprized if hans finishes with more points than scott by end of g.p. Better rider by farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
RacerDon
Totally disagree.I'm a big fan of Zagar, but he got a relatively small bump going down the straight...If he can't handle that then he doesn't deserve to be in a GP final. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If having your front wheel completely taken away as you start your turn counts as a small bump then you have a point I suspect that if Hans Andersen had been the rider passing Zagar then it wouldn't have been the yellow light that went on I'm more annoyed that it cheated Hancock out of a final spot, if Matej had reached the final many questions would have needed to have been asked about why he was riding like a conference league junior at Smallmead on Wednesday.. Mr Bee
I am financially solid enough to take several weeks holiday in the summer. Off next weekend in fact. All this talk about TRick not doing well this year. Where was Crump last year? Nowhere. When Crump becomes a 7 times world champion, I will class him a great rider. At the moment he is not even in the same ballpark as the legend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So that means that Olsen, Gundersen, Nielsen, Mauger (one short of Greatness in the Shovler world of Speedway......damn) are not great riders? They must be SO disappointed to have not lived up to your rating
