osn
Has anybody got a GP programme to print off, (usually use Kenneth Bjerre website, but now seems to be GP qualifiers rather than GP itself). Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If your computer is near Your television, then use the online program on the SGP site: http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/qual06ital/m2619

Steve Shovlar
So does the meeting start at 8 pm UK or is it a delayed broadcast with the meeting starting at the usual time?

Steve, They don't start the meeting until 9.00pm Italian time, otherwise it's too hot to race. I was out there last year. The Lonigo track is bang in the middle of housing, and yet the meeting didn't finish until gome midnight, and then there was a firework display went was still going on after 1.00am in the morning!! Fortunately, the Italians are a laid back lot, the locals we passed on the way back to the bus didn't seem fussed at all... they'd just come outside to watch the fireworks!! All the best Rob
Subedei
Apparently it's raining in Lonigo. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rained last season, from memory. And the GP was awful. Think I'll take my chances in the cruel, crazy town tonight and see what's happened when I get home.

Lonigo is a very strange track, long straights and then tight turns. Expect Crump to take two rides scoring six points and then withdrawing. rabbit
Hmm..I didn't think it was too bad last time either. Seem to have it in my head it was quite a decent GP. Perhaps the grey matter is turning into mush. Edited July 29, 2006 by rabbit
robpeasley
Rabbit, You're not alone - I was at Lonigo last year and thought it was good racing. In fact, I have to give credit to Rickardsson for his riding in this meeting last year. Seven rides, seven wins, and several spectacular passing moves. He should have quit on the rostrum like Penhall, and gone out with his reputation still intact. All the best Rob
home straight
Cracking GP and everything a meeting should be. Wasn't expecting much from tonight to be honest, but have to say it was probably one of the best GPs in the series. If they run at Lonigo next year, I will be there. Ciao baby! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So are you logged in from tracksode then Rabbit? Well, I'm sticking to my guns. Worst GP of the year by miles and miles and miles. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To be fair you did write that sort of thing after most GP's last year. (please excuse the geekery of trawling back and quoting from 10 months ago, but since there was some disagreement as to what the meeting was like last year I'd thought I'd go and see what we all said at the time.) rabbit
Nice one HS. Least I know I'm not going completely bonkers. As for logging in from trackside - I manage it from Poole so... Bought a new car so couldn't afford to do both. Next year maybe...
