BossMan
OK this meeting was far better than I was expecting. Jason Lyons was brilliant and deserved his win although Chris neath pushed him all the way to the flag. Just one point, according to the programme Brent Werner and Leigh Lanham raced the final in the wrong helmet colours and therefore started in the wrong gates? I tried to find out last night but what are the rules in this situation

I tried to find out last night but what are the rules in this situation <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have it as: Winner of first semi (Brent) went into gate 3 on green, runner up in second semi (Lanham) went into gate 4 in yellow. Was this not the case?

Was this not the case? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> According to the programme: 1st semi winner Red 1st semi second Green 2nd semi winner Blue 2nd semi second Yellow which would make it Red Jason Lyons blue Brent Werner Green Leigh Lanham Yellow Chris Neath The way they actually lined up was Red Jason Lyons Blue Leigh Lanham Green Brent Werner Yellow Chris Neath

When's the re-run? I think Lyons would have won it off 15 metres to be honest, he was that good. Mind you, I'd have liked to see him miss a gate once, just to see

Was more a case of updates first (usually while the race was running, texting blind) then fill in the programme. That way I get the updates out before the riders have left the track. Yeah, forgot to say get well soon John, looked like a bad un, but could have been a lot lot worse, ask poor Luke Bowen.

Guest Steve Dixon
Well done indeed, he was by far the best on show, once he got out the gate no one could touch him, Neath got closest in the final. Due to the delay waiting for the ambulance to return only the VHM meeting and the attempt on the track record went ahead. No Japs racing I'm afraid
