Silver Bee
Gjedde is through on 11 (presumably) according to the spreadsheet so no run-off.
Jools
I'm confused now. Spreadsheet shows Gjedde with 9 from heats but they appear to have the line up for the final as 12, 7, 14, 4. This would be Ryan, GJEDDE, Max, Pepe. But what about no.15 Koschieca who had 11 points ? Confused! Edited July 9, 2006 by Jools
Silver Bee
Gjedde has 11 too. Think they put '17' instead of '7' on the race result, thus making it wrong on the scorechart.

Jools
17. Topinka, Kościecha, Kennett, Pijper18. Lindgren, Jirout, Schatzer, Visvader, Gjedde (t / 2min) 19. Harris, Sullivan, McGowan, Darkin 20. Protasiewicz, Max, Iversen, Pavlic <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So he wasn't excluded in heat 18 then? That makes the 6 qualifiers straightforward now
Silver Bee
As far as I can see, Gjedde must have finished second, and was not excluded.

Sandie
As I read it: Ryan Sullivan Piotr Protasiewicz Charlie Gjedde Mikael Max Robert Kosciecha Chris Harris all through. Am I right or wrong?!

Am I right or wrong?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you're right if Gjedde was 2nd in ht 18! Either way, Harris has done well to join Steady in the final. It is a strong line up for Vetlanda & we can't wait now!!

salty
So the full line up for the Final is:- Jagus Kolodziej Pepe Kosciecha Andersen Gjedde Max PK Harris Stead Holta Sullivan Ferjan A Dryml Smolinski Laukkanen Nine of which have been in GP's before. Good to see 2 young Brits there, but it will be a big ask to get in the top 3. Edited July 9, 2006 by salty

(top 8 from this yr GP stay in series & 4 wild cards from BSI). Don't you think the top placed Brit from this mtg will get the 2nd GB wild card from BSI though? Can see Nicholls getting the 1st place if he doesn't make top 8, but I think Richardson might be hoping a bit..... Suppose it depends on the demographic of the qualifying riders from this & the GPs. Might not be room for 2 Brits. Edited July 9, 2006 by Jools

If Nicholls qualifies by dint of his performance this year then there might just be another place awarded, so if Stead or Harris were to do well at Vetlanda they might just catch the eye of the organisers. Unless Richardson improves dramatically or gets some influential sponsors he's got to be out.
Subedei
"If I'm not in the top eight at the end of the season, it means I haven't done my work...I've had long enough in the GPs now and if I don't get into the top eight by riding well enough, then I don't deserve to be there." So, the above quote from Nicholls was just balderdash?
