StevenB
maybe he decided to ride for KL on wednesday instead? Leaving him out without a reaosn would be a very strange move. Edited July 17, 2006 by StevenB
Jools
We've had this discussion somewhere before, but I can't find the thread!! The conclusion was that Topinka rode under a Slovak licence now after a falling out with the Czech authorities. As a SK rider, he isn't able to ride for CZ......though I don't know why, as Rune has been N & PL at the same time & Ferjan was SLO & H etc etc!!!! edit, have found the link http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...opic=27464&st=0 btm of page 1. iris123
What license someone rides under has nothing to do with what nationality someone is,and therefore plays no role in what national team they can ride for.If Topinka doesn't ride for Czecho that is either because he isn't picked or doesn't want to.When Ferjan gets his passport then he can ride for the Hungarian team. But in individual competitions he can enter with a Hungarian Licence.Just as Simon Wigg did with a Dutch one.
