I have only been to Riga before but am tempted by this one

No luck with accomodation as it seems all booked up, however the first train back to Riga is 6.15am, and the bar at the Park Hotel Latgola stays open until 5am, so Im sure i could kill the time quite easily

There are 4 of us going, we are hoping to go to U21 in Italy then drive up to Latvia. My insurance company won't insure me for Latvia or Lithuania so I am hoping to be able to buy a green card at the border. We booked our hotel before Christmas & have also booked our tickets.

Really would have liked to have gone to this one. Looks a lovely stadium. Looked at Latvian sites and the writing is strange. What kind of writing is that? There is no way us Brits could try to say a word, never mind a sentence.

Its probably Russian but they can be conflicting translation because your computer is set to English language creating weird letters even more weirder than Russian.

Anyone know any riders that have ridden there?

Is Zager Latvian?

Zagar is not Latvian, but he has ridden there a few times and he loves the place. He even won the European Junior Championship there in 2002, in front of Bjerre, Lindgren, Lindbäck, Kasprzak, Davidssons' etc.

As well as your brolly, a decent jumper good be handy, says showers, max 14% min 10%, if it's on sky at 7pm, then it's 9pm out there so could be chilly by midnight, then back to the latgola and drink with boggle until 5am <if she lets me>.
