World Under-21 Semi

Recommended Posts

Sunday brings the semi-final of the World Under-21 Championship hold at Leszno. The Under-21 mantle still maintains a inch of respectability due to the format which is taken on and the competitve side to the event.

Here's the line-up

I am sure there will be updates from one of the Polish websites.

Starts 1800 BST

The field looks very exciting.

From the Poles of Hlib and Zabik to the grit of the Brits Wright, King Brothers and the lone ranger of Holder.

I would predict

Hlib

Zabik

Buckowski

Holder

With Wright probably scraping through

I imagine that if you keep an eye on sportowefakty.pl, a gallery will appear in due course. Usually takes a few days, but they generally appear:

Click on "zuzel" and then look down the right hand side of the page - about half way down, you'll see "galeria" and a list of fixtures. It'll appear there.

It was a night of domination be the Swedes (no surprise). Looks like Freddie got his bikes sorted out and his gating was better. Buczkowski raced well below expectations, looked like he couldn't find the setup on the hard and slick track.

The rider who impressed me the most was Chris Holder, if he keeps progressing at his present pace he will go places. Haven't seen a rider this good in some time. Still a bit rowdy on the bike tho :) but I'm sure he'll calm down with age ;).
