Anyone Taking A Camera To Cardiff?

Recommended Posts

Isn't Cardiff also one of the stadium that removes bottles of water from your bags as well!

Never taken mine from me so far :approve:

Off at a tangent I know but ..... the Stadium website now states it's all non smoking and has been since Jan 1st.

Awwwwwww Kev where we gonna have a crafty roll up now :o

Drink the water and then put some bacardi or vodka in it. See I'm not just a pretty face

Now why didn't I think of that :P:lol:

I phoned the stadium for the GP in 2001 and they said they had no problems with air horns or banners.

How can BSI sell no-airhorn sections if the whole place is no-airhorn?!

I sent an email to the stadium to clarify

Hi,

I am attending the Speedway Grand Prix tomorrow.

Will I be allowed into the stadium with my camera?

I am a keen amateur photographer.

I do not sell my pictures.

I do not use flash when taking photographs.

Regards,

Andy

The reply

Many Thanks

Unfortunately, camera's are not permitted into the stadium, for further information, please visit our ground rules at www.millenniumstadium.com . We need to make you aware that if caught using your camera, it will be confiscated by one of our safety stewards

Regards

I replied with ........

I would like to politely point out that airhorns, flags and banners are also not permitted within the stadium but the place is full of them.

How can you sell "airhorn-free zone" tickets if airhorns are not allowed at all?

What harm will I do with my camera?

I won't be piercing anyones ear drum with it.

I won't be obstructing the view.

I certainly won't be using it as a weapon.

No reply yet ... don't expect one either.
