Hazzman
Some suprising results this week, Tarnow look poor with Kolodziej and if Nicholls wants to be their foreign figurehead after T Rick's retirement he best buck up his ideas. The table is as close as predicted similar to the Elite this year. The basement battlers Rynbik manage their first win against Champions Tarnow. There has been a couple of riders for Rynbik who have impressed me: Smolinski and that rider tied ninth in the average whose name I would struggle to spell. Subedei
Some suprising results this week, Tarnow look poor with Kolodziej. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They look a damn sight poorer without him. However, when all's said and done, it was good to see Rybnik finally winning a meeting. Should give their fans something to cheer about. And Smolinski and Szombierski have done very well for the "no-hopers", while Gafurov and Povazhny have had their moments. Good to see dear old Jacek in amongst the points again. But I sense all is not well within the Tarnow camp.
Hazzman
There are a number of reasons I think Tarnow have struggled. I honestly believe that this 8 rider system has provided Tarnow's undoing. It has meant one rider has always had to miss out, and team selection has been hard. Hilb has not been the Kolodziej type success they were hoping, Hlib has done nothing wrong its just his points are not reaching the heights of Kolodziej was last year. With the league slipping up after the regular season, it gives a Tarnow a chance. As you said Sube, it must have been a great boost to Rynbik beating the Champions. If we can compare to English Football, Tarnow have been like Chelsea for the past two years and it looks probable Chelsea will have their toughest season yet this next coming season. The same is happening to Tarnow. Pre-Season favourites Wroclaw are there of course and should be winners provided Crump stays in his unstoppable form. Torun continue to suprise by keeping up with the top teams.
Champion
Hlib isn't reaching even half of what Kolodziej or Rempala were last two years. Let's just say his average was nearly 1 point per heat (!!!) before last Sunday. Same Jacek Gollob; before last Sunday he scored 14 points... in 7 matches !! no comment. They have finally scored at Rybnik, but still Rybnik is just a 2nd division team beeing promoted to the 1st division when it was to late for any valuable signings, so 10 points in 6 heats (J.Gollob) is nothing to be proud of. Both of them have secure position in the team squad so 8-rider system has nothing to do with their poor performance. Anyway, Nicholls was the saddest surprise last Sunday, and the sensational & shameful defeat became a fact...
