Hazzman
I'm going on a Swindon coach. Five coaches going. More than Coventry. Nur! I bought 5 tickets last week - one family of 4 and one old age pensioner ticket for me dear ol' mum (Gawd bless her). Can't believe they only offer concessions in the cheapest price tickets. When I ordered them I was told they had no more £29 tickets left on the home straight. If true - although the guy on the phone did seem a bit dozy - then that must be better than previoius years. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A lot of sponsors ie. free tickets go on the home straight, never fully took up though. sjw ministerofport
What you say is probably correct Hazzman. Last Year we went to Wroclaw, and Prague both looked almost full to me. The year before Bydgoszcz was full. As for Cardiff the noise is enough with 40 thousand, I would use ear plugs if there were more than that. The racing could be rubbish but who cares, its just the place, meeting old and new friends and the atmosphere. Getting excited now
Chris-P
Kelvin Tatum mentioned last night on Sky from the Belle Vue V's Reading meeting that cardiff ticket sales where up on last years...dunno if this is the case, but supposedly he would be in the know ! lol This will be our second year at cardiff, but as i work till 3 am on the friday night (im a club dj) we will be jumping on a train as soon as we can on the sat morning, then catch up with sleep on the train, got guest house booked too. I drove there and back last year after working till 3 am the previous night, it was a nightmare, closed off motorways, and me being crap at it meant that it took 5 hours there, and nearly the same back with all the traffic trying to leave Cardiff... so its beer and shennanigans after the meeting for us, then train back to Leicester on sunday. CUMMON SCOTTYYYYYYYY BOYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!!!

Steve Shovlar
J Posselthwaite said last night that there crowd has grown every year and this year they have sold an extra 10%, so we are talking 44,000 fans on Saturday if that is true. Those bars are going to be busy.

It's a common tactic to say its a number, so people will rush buy and think they are missing out on something.

I am 100% confident that yet again it will be tosh and the crowd will not be 10% up on last year. I always have a fascination to know the crowd figure that is quoted for promotional purposes and the one the VAT man sees
