We are planning on it but the weather had better pick up or else it aint gonna be to pleasnat. We'll be camping at Lavernock Point i think in Penarth. Where is everyone else stopping ? Bring plenty of pennies... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No we haven't, although we were planning on driving to Penarth, banging the tent up then driving back into Cardiff for the whole day save on the taxi fares a bit, it looks like it's out on the sticks a bit so i can see how it would cost you a fortune!! Thinking back to it now, i had serious aggro actually getting a taxi to take me back after the meeting...for some reason, a drunk bloke wanting a 30 quid taxi into the middle of nowhere wasn't exactly the kinda passenger they wanted. Tailgunner Posted June 1, 2006 Report Share Posted June 1, 2006 Know its a bit late now but have you try`d camping at pontcanna fields ? its in the centre right next to glamorgan crickets ground surrounded by fields and only 10 walk to the Stadium , i know they have touring caravans there and thought camping as well ????? lovely place and nice area.
