I got back this lunchtime from a week away so I think I will catch up with this thread.

First of all I went away to south Devon for a week, with no internet access. Left an hour before the GP started, and still haven't had a chance to watch it. Probably will tomorrow morning. I would like to state that it wasn't me posting on the updates forum last week. Obviously someone thought it funny to use my name. Glad that a mod checked the IP address and posted that it wasn't me.

And SCB, the logging out time was correct, but we weren't here. My wifes mother was though, here house sitting for a few days, and she was using the net. My default IE home page is this forum. So when she comes online and opens IE, it will show up here before she goes off surfing Ebay or whereever.

Thought I would clear that one up.

As for TRick and the GP's well I have yet to watch it but by the sounds of it he has engine problems. Sounds too slow. Hopefully he would have rectified it by next weekend and normal service will be resumed.

Come on Mr S., you've been back a little while now and you have posted a couple of times including this morning. Show people on here that you are a decent person and not just someone who can dish it out but can't take it in return.

What are you on about? I posted on here yesterday!

What am I on about? What are you on more like it, or, which planet are you on? Your post yesterday was more about your domestic arrangements than anything else, certainly nothing about the thread within which you posted. If you are going to post within a thread, surely to make your post relevant you should read the subject matter and the content. If you can be bothered, perhaps you might like to take a few moments to read through the thread (it's not overly long) and comment accordingly. It seems that there are a few on here who might like to see what you have got to say for yourself.

Have you watched the meeting yet young fellow? If you have, do you have any thoughts on the continued eclipse of TR?

I have now watched it. Terrible GP, almost as bad as the second one. Glad I watched it with my finger on the fast forward between heats. Hancock lost it rather than Crump winning it. Its a GP final and Hancock should have moved out to the fence and blocked Crump. Too soft.

TRick looked down on power.

Two words. Second one is off.

Rob, I would have been more than happy to give my thoughts of the GP and the form of TRick, if asked in a decent tone.

However, this philcrumpisgod person didn't ask, but worded it in such a way that I found condescending. For that reason alone I decided not to make a comment when I returned. However, he then went on to more or less "demand" I make a statement, asking what planet I am on.

Asking for me to post "to show I am a decent person" is like a red rag to a bull. What other response did he expect?

Steve,

I know... I was just having a bit of a wind-up.

The posts of "Philcrumpisgod" on here actually don't make a great deal of sense, to be honest, but it was unusual to see you bite in such a way.

But you'd better get used to the mickey-taking, because I can't see Mr. Rickardsson changing things about that quickly. One bad GP is a fluke result, but two on the trot, suggest it could be some time before he sorts it out... maybe not until the mid-season break, perhaps.

As you can guess, I'm devastated to watch Mr. Rickardsson stuggling so badly following his total lack of commitment to Oxford earlier in the season...

All the best

Rob

I do wish you'd give young Crump a little credit.
