Can anyone suggest anywhere, web links etc. Going out on the Friday and returning Sunday. German Speedway Fan Posted May 17, 2006 Report Share Posted May 17, 2006 I'll stay at Hotel Nebo at Copenhagen. The hotel is direkt at the central station of Kopenhagen. I booked it about ww.hotel.de. I'll arrive by train from Germany on Saturday morning and will leave on Sunday morning... I'll pay for a doubleroom 90€ for one night. I mean 90€ are 60 Pounds... iris123 Posted May 17, 2006 Report Share Posted May 17, 2006 Stayed in one right by the station last year(might have been the Nebo,not sure)and it was great.Very good breakfast and the room was clean.Must say i was a bit worried at first because the area around the station looked a bit down-at -heel and i could sense my girlfriend was a bit worried.Was perfect for them to visit the amusement park and all Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spacebaby Posted May 17, 2006 Report Share Posted May 17, 2006 Been to all the Copenhagen GP's so far stay at the ansgar hotel - cheap n cheerful and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. spiegal Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 Think that you will find it extremely difficult to obtain a GUARANTEED room for the GP weekend. The whole City is booked out due to the GP and a major convention being held over the longer weekend. We had dreadful problems obtaining beds and i am lead to believe that there is vast overbooking in some hotels. Still ya pays ya money and you takes your chances.
