The Chivsy Travel Team GB Squad would be

1. Nicholls

2. Richardson

3. Loram

4. Stead

5. Rider Replacement  :D

Not bad Chivs but you need to replace Stead with Louis around Reading (about 5 points difference) Thats providing Chris can score 5 in the World Cup of cause. Before anyone thinks I'm having a go at Steady I think he is a great rider He just always seems to have trouble at Smallmead. I think he's a must in the team for Poland but not the play off or final.

To be fair the first draft was

1. Crump (Guest)

2. Pedersen (Guest)

3. rider Replacement

4. Adams (Guest)

5. Hampel (Guest)

but i didnt think I would get away with that!!

Nicholls

Richardson

Loram

Norris

Then one rider and two reserves from Stead, Barker and Harris.

Top three pick themselves. Norris used to ride there and should hit full flight by the time of the SWC. Barker is revelation this year at Arlington and has a couple of away matches to prove his worth prior to the finals. Harris I just don't think can mix it match after match at this level.

1. Nicholls - Definate Starter

2. Stead - Definate Starter

3. Harris/Loarm - Depends on form, but I like Bomber

4. Norris/Rico - depends on form and at the moment thats Floppy

5. Louis/Screen/Rico/Loram - tough one, but Louis is starting to ride well.

well for the round in poland you have to go with riders who have polish league experience/ fast motors.

i think steady an scotty pick themselves,

it's bomber's home polish track, has to be considered.

Mark loram, if allowed! :)

Dave Norris in poland, not sure.

Lee richardson, got polish experience but not in form, do you take the chance? look what he did in poland last year in the swc.

chris louis, riding in poland again this year, might be considered.

joe screen, has experience.

My team for poland would be:

Scotty

Steady

Mark Loam

Lee richardson

bomber

reading well thats a different mater.

again scotty an steady pick themselves.

dave norris round reading has to be certain, :D

lee richardson, well depends whether in form or not.

mark loram, again picked if allowed!

bomber, maybe

joe screen, possible

chris louis, possible.

my team would be for reading:

scotty

steady

dave norris

mark loram

lee richardson

have to agree with pirate paul, havvy in the pits would be an excellent idea, two heads instead of one with middlo. :D

lewis bridger, way too early for the young kid, remember he's only 16! nice idea but not at the moment.

I Will still stay with the 5 riders i have picked Loram, Stead, Screen,Harris and Nicholls as these are all racers and will give their all, but as is usually the case even the most mediocre foreigner will raise their game and become match winners and so prevent GB either qualifying or winning the event

Having just seen the Ipswich v Swindon meeting on Sky Lee Richardson is a definate non starter for the GB team,

Perhaps we will just have to wait a few years for riders like Lewis Bridger and Josh Auty to gain any future succes in the World Cup

on current form the 5 would have to be:

Scott Nicholls

Mark Loram

Chris Louis

Simon Stead

Chris Harris

would have to consider floppy for reading but not poland

reserve places in case of injury:

Joe Screen

Gary Havelock

No place for Lee because basically on current form he doesnt merit it.

I hope for his sake he proves me wrong cos i think middlo will pick him regardless

I don't know much about the Reading track. Is it normally slick or will it be made slick by Ole Olsen? Either way, it will be slick and no matter how good they are in league meetings there we'll need guys who can gate, are brave into turn one and can ride it, providing, of course, we can overcome the huge hurdle that awaits us in Rybnik.

My gut feeling is that we won't need to worry about Reading. I hope I'm wrong. :(

I'd go for :

Nicholls

Stead

Loram (if he chooses to ride)

Bomber

Richardson.

Now, that's for round one. Give Richardson a chance because realistically, we are almost guarentreed a place in the race-off. If he performs, keep him in, if he doesn't, I'd bring in Danny Bird for Reading.

I didn't think Zagar would cut it against the top boys at Reading but quite clearly he can, same I should imagine would apply to Danny Bird. I wouldn't use Flop in Poland if Loram will ride, but he'd be in my consideration for Reading.

IF Loram does not ride in the WC, I'd use Floppy providing he had quick enough motors.
