speedyguy
Bert Roger, former West Ham, New Cross and Exeter rider also had a spell with Poole in the 2950s. Any help on when this might have been please - and thanks!

tape2tapevideo
I belive this is the same bert rogers who is visiting a friend at Hailsham this weekend - certainly a rider with same name who rode at Eastbourne in the 50's. star ghost
A Chequered Flag item in the V S M stated some time back that Bert had passed away in the Summer of 1995. If your contact rode for Eastbourne try Norbould. He has just co-written the Eastbourne story. I expect the person you know might have been one of the S A L riders in the 50s Edited May 19, 2006 by star ghost
speedyguy
Could it be PETE Rogers, who rode second-half at Eastbourne, California-in-England, Aldershot and Wimbledon around this time. He also raced in France for some years in the 1960s with George Bason, Stan Tebby (Jim's dad) and Geoff Harris among others.
