Rafał Wilk - Crash

Rafał Wilk crashed yesterday in heat 8, dont understand polish so well but has understand that Rafal is badly injured and may not ever to walk again.

 

Can someone from Poland come with more info about this sadful accident.

Rafal Wilk is riding for Krosno.

 

Hope the news isnt as bad as heard on Rafal.

Very unfortunate accident, briefly from reports I've read Rafal crashed into the boards by himself exiting 4th bend of the last lap. His team mate Vaculik was behind him and had no time nor room to avoid him and hit Rafal's head with the frame of his bike.

 

Wilk was rushed to the hospital and is diagnosed with spinal cord injury. :(

 

 

Now, this is still unoffical news, once am official statment is realised I'll post it here.

State of his health is serious but stable and his life is not endangered now.

 

Fans have started raising money for his rehabilitation and over there in Krosno they are gonna organise some friendly meetings to raise money as well.

Horrific crash. It's always shocking when a rider is badly injured - just hope he gets better soon. Please keep us updated.
