BritPete
now that's what i call bad luck . Do you remember the last time he rode in a event on a sunday after a gp? think it was the british final at oxford he pull out after one ride <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember it well, it was on TV. He ran back to the pits pushing his bike trying to give the impression that he was going to jump on another bike--or work on that one! Unfortunately for him the camera followed him all the way and he was caught out! All he did was to take his helmet off, and sit down! Didn't even see a mechanic there! But of course, that will not happen twice, will it? LOL!
Baldyman
I thought This meeting was called Elite League Best Pairs, with all the rider changes it should be just called Elite League We Tried Our Best To Make A Pair"

krompa
Reading to win 6/1 seems way too much for me with flying Herbie + Zagar who might like the track IMO. As long as they can share the heat against Belle Vue and probably stop Lee in the final, at this price it is a must bet!
krompa
Anyone got fulll race programm?
Leigh
Just had a phone call from a forum member whose on their way to the meeting to say it's raining 20 miles from the track! Assuming as no-one else has posted anything that it's nothing major and still likely to go ahead! I'll go and ring them back and tell them! DartfordHammer
Who invented the amazing scoring system? How many other sports reward the participants for coming 2nd and 3rd instead of winning? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I suppose being the pairs and all that it's a reward for team riding. Not saying I agree with it though.
orion
Earth to orion, what does 3+2 equal? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So if your rider wins your partner will come last ? he might come second he might come come third The whole ideal is that it is a PAIRS MEETING jesus
