Subedei
It looks like two meetings in two days has been too much for Andreas Jonsson. There's currently a break in the Bydgoszcz-Tarnow meeting while he's being taken to hospital, after, apparently, fainting. Champion
Looks like there was no fainting. He just felt pain in his foot after his last heat, and he's been afraid that it's been broken once again (it was broken last season), so he wanted to go to the hospital.
Leliwa
Apparently AJ hit the bump during his last ride and hurt his foot. He complained of pain in the foot he injured last year. Fearing the worst he was taken to the hospital. I hope he is all right. More I'm sure when Mateusz comes back. Coming back to the match, this is great win for us, although, there is a lot to be improved. Basically 3 guys keeping the score might be good for Leszno and now Bydgoszcz, but when we go to Wroclaw it is not going to be enough. Mateusz
I will have confirmed info about Jonsson later tonight. Please be patient. But as I wrote to Rico earlier - AJ has probably twisted his leg when bumping or during a small clash with Kolodziej who left him no space near the fence at the backstaight. Anyway, I gotta watch it on tv to judge that situation. As for the match (Bydgoszcz v Tarnow 44:46) - Bydgoszcz were not as strong as one week ago but undoubtedly we were damn unlucky tonight AJ was taken to the hospital after 3 of his heats, Kosciecha had ef in the gate. PePe was weak as well, but last night while he was coming back from Krsko both of his children were taken to hospital (probably serious food poisoning). If my children were taken to hospital, I'd also have not will to fight... And to be fair - T.Gollob and Kolodziej were pure class tonight. However, this match was won by three men only - TG, Kolodziej and Nicholls. If Bydgoszcz hadn't had this bad luck, we would have won. Not highly, but around 48:42 I think. But that's speedway. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes not. Still any doubts who should get the wild card for Wroclaw, heh? tarabanko
Saw the match on Polsat Sport and it was a real real good one. Tomasz Gollob was awesome and also Janusz Kolodziej for Tarnow. For Bygdoszcz AJ was ok til the accident with the fence, Klecha rode some good heats and Buczkowski was good value, Sawina was poor. But it was SOOOOO slick. Why?
Subedei
So, looked like quite an interesting day in Poland today, although sadly overshadowed by quite a serious injury to Jonsson. A few clubs look to be very weak in the junior department at the minute, especially Czestochowa, Leszno and even Tarnow, where Hlib hasn't set the world alight so far. Bydgoszcz and Wroclaw seem to have well-balanced sides, although Bydgoszcz will struggle to cover Jonsson with rider replacement if he's out for a while. And is there a squad problem at Wroclaw? Why no No 16 today? And, is this 8-man team system working? Only three rides for Marcin Rempala and Jacek Gollob today. Is that stopping them getting "into the groove"?
Hazzman
The 8 man squad is not working. Last year's 7-man team with the juniors was good.
